Waist 28", hip 36", upper thigh 20". 5' 5" height and 112 lbs. I purchased the S and I could not have fit into the XS (which I normally take in NIKE run shorts) as the elastic would not have passed my thighs. They are not very short, back is a little longer which gives good coverage and they are a bit wider in the leg, not really a straight leg. Thankfully not excessively flared. I would have preferred a slightly narrower leg.

Love these shorts! This is my 2nd pair within the same year. Love how they fit. Not too short or long for my height. I am 5'4 and about 115 pounds. Ordered a size small. They don't fade after multiple washes. I wear them for working out and leisure.
