We got these Nike sneakers for my 6th grade daughter to use as her school gym shoes, and they’ve been a great pick so far! The arch support is excellent—she says they feel supportive during running and sports activities without any foot fatigue afterward. They do run true to size, but the toe area is just a little snug, so if your child has wider feet, you might consider sizing up or trying a wide option if available. That said, she adjusted quickly and hasn’t had any complaints since breaking them in during the first few wears. They look sleek and sporty—easy to pair with her PE clothes or even jeans. Very cute - love the colour. Cushioning is very good and it has good arch support. They fit VERY close and are tight in the toe box. I bought them for 5K walks, have tested them 3 times in short (half-hour) indoor workouts and usually can't wait to get them off - they don't hurt, but they're so close. l am not sure that I'll ever use them in a 5K - I worry they may hurt my feet in a walk that long despite the excellent cushioning.
