I love Nikes but my child has a wider foot and most Nikes are narrow. There was one kind that fit him and they are discontinued, so I was thrilled to see this cute and stylish shoe available in wide. However when they came they were not marked "wide" but just regular. They fit like the regular fit so too tight. I sent back and reordered since Amazon said it was just an error. But the same thing happened. I noticed that I select "wide" but when I put it in my cart, in the cart it no longer says "wide". So I don't think the wide exists and it's just an error in the system. I wanted to write a review so that others will know that this is an issue. I was disappointed because it's a nice shoe otherwise.

I’m returning these sneakers. These are the 2nd pair I bought for my son. The 1st pair lasted 3 weeks before there were holes in top mesh. The 2nd pair lasted 2 weeks before holes appeared in the same spot.

My 7 year old is not a large kid by any means, he's actually pretty skinny, with skinny legs too. The velcro strap over the top of the ankle on these is definitely not long enough. So while it closes fine when the shoe is not being worn, once you put a kids foot in there with a sock it's tough to get it these pieces to stay down while they are running and jumping.. which of course for a 7 year old boy is ALL the time. Cute shoe, love the style, love the colors, even the price isnt too outrageous.. but I did wish that top piece would stay connected, instead of popping open all day.

I like how light weight the shoes are and they have a fair amount of cushion in the foot bed. They also have some tread on the bottom which seems to be lacking in a lot of athletic shoes these days. I bought a size 3 for my just turned 9 year old boy. I think he is really between a 2.5 and a 3. There is room for him to grow a little. He has a NARROW foot and they fit him well.

The shoes make the feet extra stinky!! We will not buy it again as the materials somehow is not good. Everyone knows boys love to run and their feet usually are a bit of stinky at night-:) Well it is not the first time we buy shoes for our boy... but those shoes make the feet smell horrible and very stinky! We have to buy other brand and glad now our Boy’s feet smell “normal and usual” Then we will just throw this pair of Nike... we are disappointed, but more surprised such a famous brand could allow themselves put such shoes on the market...

These look and fit as expected, however, the Velcro grip that closes on top is too small to catch the Velcro. I bought two of the same shoes and both had the same issue. If that was a little longer, the shoes would not come off while running or playing. My son has to wear with the Velcro either undone or under the flap. Not very convenient.
