Okay. So I was browsing for some running shoes and these shoes really stood out to me because of how they look. I have never seen any other shoe design where the rubber part is colored, but the top part is white. Very unique, and I always get compliments everywhere I go. Notice what I just said-everywhere I go. I don't wear these just for gym anymore; I wear these EVERYWHERE! You don't need to break them in, either. On the foot, they feel like...well, if you can imagine--what a cat's paw pads would feel like on human feet. The soles have the perfect mix of bounce-back and shock-absorption; that is, they're not too spongy and not too stiff. When I put these shoes on, and stand up, I notice that I always do a little bounce-jump, just because they feel that good. I actually feel like running when I put them on. I wear size 9.5 [mens-american sizing] in dress shoes and sandals so I made sure that I bought size 10.5 in running shoes; they *ARE* running shoes, after all. They are supposed to be snug, sure, and secure on your foot to prevent injury while running [or power-walking]. So, I do recommend that you buy a full size up from your regular shoe size for a comfortable fit. You still may have to adjust the shoestrings a little bit, even after going up a full size, so keep that in mind. These are model Pegasus 37, and they feel like these shoes were custom-made. These are truly white, so they do get dirty after a while, so how do I make them clean and pristine white again, you may ask. Here's a trick I learned growing up in a household full of boys with white shoes: [1] Insert plastic adjustable shoe-stretchers in the dirty shoes; [2] Put each shoe in a white pillowcase and tie it up, tight; [3] Throw them in the washing machine and dryer with all of your other whites. That's it! No special shoe cleaners or shampoos needed. The shoe-stretchers will ensure that the shoe keeps original shape, and the pillowcase-wrapping will keep the colored design from smearing! Try it; it works every time! I loved these shoes so much that, after my first run, I immediately went back on Amazon.com and bought 3 more pairs [in other colors, of course], just because. If you have a job where you required to stand on your feet all day like I do [cashiers/nurses/bartenders, etc.], believe me: your feet will thank you! Trust me, you will forget you are wearing them.

I wanted to love these because I've had some model of Pegasus before (can't remember which) that was JUST wide enough for me to wear and they had the BEST of the best soles I've ever stepped down on. Unfortunately, this particular model was super narrow (like most Nike shoes) and I couldn't even wear them a full day. If your feet are narrow or even typical width, I urge you to try these because they are amazing on your feet.

I actually Love these shoes. Both my husband and I wear them every day. Between the two of us we have re-ordered about 6-7 pairs a year. We are in the Movie Motion Picture Industry and they are the best shoes for flat land and hill climbing as well as running and of course trekking . I am a Grandmaster 58 years of MMA and 2 Forms of Combat Rank #60. These shoes add and additional force to the speed at which I run. They also help people who have flat feet. And those who have very high arches like myself and husband. Everything I wear is Nike, best quality of everything! I still have been wearing Nike clothing since they first started business in 1964 58-59 years ago. Now my husband who is a WBros. Executive Director. Is hooked on these shows now too and they have improved his athletic performance as well. I will continue to order them as long as they don’t mess with the design they have already perfected. I acutely have purchased them for several family members. They all love them. Thank you Nike, Thank you Amazon Kiki Why do they come with the top cut off the original box.
