I’ve been using the Nike Men’s Air Max Alpha Trainer 6 for a couple of months now, primarily for gym sessions involving weightlifting, circuit training, and some light cardio. As someone who hits the gym 4-5 times a week, I was looking for an affordable cross-trainer that could handle moderate workouts without breaking the bank—and this shoe (retailing around $95-100) definitely fits that bill. Pros: • Stability and Support: The wide, flat base and robust heel with the visible Max Air unit provide excellent stability, especially during squats, deadlifts, and other heavy lifts. It feels grounded and secure—I never worried about tipping over during lateral movements or one-leg exercises. • Cushioning: The foam midsole combined with the heel Air Max cushioning absorbs impact well for moderate sessions. The forefoot feels generously padded, making it comfortable for longer workouts or standing around between sets. • Value for Money: This is a big upgrade over the Alpha Trainer 5 (which got some harsh feedback). At this price point, it’s a solid entry-level gym shoe for beginners or intermediate lifters who want Nike’s Air Max style without spending on premium models like Metcons. • Durability and Grip: The outsole has a herringbone pattern in the forefoot for good traction on gym floors, and the rubber holds up well so far—no excessive wear after regular use. • Style: Classic Nike look with the visible Air unit; it comes in plenty of colorways and looks sharp both in and out of the gym.

These sneakers are comfortable, i got them for my job where I'm on my feet all day. I wear them just casually as well since they're extremely comfortable and form fitting to your feet. Definitely a good buy & now one of my favorite, most worn sneakers. True to size as well.

I use these shoes for lifting and training. They are stable, supportive and comfortable and I like the styling. First pair of Nike shoes I’ve had in many years. I should have returned them though as they do run small. They aren’t so tight that they are uncomfortable but they are snug and I’ve worn a size 10 all my adult life. I went to the Nike website and it says the shoes runs small so buy 1/2 size larger. Wish I had seen that on Amazon’s site. My question is why didn’t Nike design and make them to the correct size?

I wear 9.5 in other brands so based on the reviews I ordered a size 10 and Im glad I did. They fit perfectly. They are as firm as they are soft. Almost springy in the front. Very comfortable. Very cool. I love them.

Super comfortable sneakers, you can go walking for long periods and your feet will not feel tired ask my husband for your size half a size bigger because I thought they would fit him tight but they were a little big so ask for your size
