Predominantly painted in black, fire red hues hit the Nike Swoosh, toe box, and ankle flap, where you’ll also find the His Airness’ signature winged basketball emblem. Unlike the original “Bred,” however, the heel is done up in black rather than red, aptly earning this colorway the nickname “Alternate Bred.”

I bought these for my 5 y/o back in March. I didn’t give them to him until his birthday in June. He’s worn these shoes maybe 30x. That’s the most wear we’ve gotten out of these shoes- and he doesn’t play sports in these. The front half of the shoe has separated from the foot lining/rim.
