I got these for my daughter who plays Jr. High Volleyball. She has a lean muscular frame, 5'3'' and these fit great. They don't slide down and provide a good cushion on impact. She recently dove for a ball and landed on her knee and hip, her knee was fine but her hip was bruised. If not for the knee pads, her knee would probably be pretty swollen and bruised too. I like the black color also, because white absorbs sweat stains. I just throw them in the wash on cold and hang to dry.

These are big enough and padded enough, but not too high/bulky. My 14 year old plays comp volleyball and says these are comfortable for the 2 hours she ususes them at practice and game days. They dont fall down. They have held up great.
