COMFORT, SUPPORT AND CUSHIONING. The Nike Air Max Plus Men's Shoe maintains the legendary "Tuned" Air cushioning and energetic lines of the original 1998 model. Upper in leather, synthetic material or fabric based on color; foam sole with Tuned Air cushioning; rubber sole. Origins of the Air Max Plus shoe: the revolutionary Air-Sole unit debuted in the Nike Footwear line in 1978. The 1987 marks the debut of the Nike Air Max 1, the first model with visible Air unit in the heel, which shows the fans the characteristics of the new technology , in addition to offering all the typical benefits of Air-Sole. In 1998, Air Max Plus introduced the cushioning system that "tuned" the Air-Sole units with specific parts of the foot, to give greater stability and support to runners. Thanks to the sunset-inspired colorways and wavy design lines, which recall the beaches caressed by the wind, this shoe has gained such popularity that it soon turned into a real cultural phenomenon.

I was a little concerned at first when my package arrived and the top of the box was cut off. I figured these were factory seconds, but I couldn’t find anything wrong with them. I wore them for the first time to officiate a basketball game and they were very comfortable.

I figured these shoes were a good price to give them a try... And it was a great decision period they fit. Well, they're supportive, they're comfortable on my feet. And that has been one of the problems. I've been looking for a shoe similar to the Nike shocks for a while. And these come closest in terms of providing support in holding my foot steady in the shoe. I actually like how they fit and support my feet better than the air max. Who knew? ... show more

So I bought these for me, and unfortunately, my teenage son has the same size feet. As soon as he saw them, he said, “dad, I think I might steal these from you.” Then 10 seconds later he came back and took them and I haven’t seen them since. I usually love Nike shoes, but they missed the mark on this one. - The materials are stiff, which puts extra strain on your feet. - The laces it comes with are too short, only have a couple of inches to tie with. I had to pull the laces out of one set of holes to get enough. - The tongue that stiches to the lower part of the shoe, above the top of the toes, digs into your feet. - Everyone has different feet, I get that. My feet are pretty skinny. This shoe may get better while wearing it overtime. But until then it is a very uncomfortable shoe. I have to bring a separate pair of shoes with me so I can change when my feet start hurting too much. Hope this helps ... show more
