Very cool sweatshirt, I usually hover between L and XL and going just a bit bigger really makes a cozy sweater, the gaiter is huge (and the hood is even bigger) and covers basically the whole lower half of your face, it's not longer in arms or torso than average sizing but it is much wider which adds to the roomy and warm feeling I sought when I bought this. I just recieved this in the mail earlier today at the time I'm typing this. This is my new most favorite hoodie!!! I was searching for weighted hoodies to assist with mental health issues and then I got sidetracked and found this. When the description said heavyweight, I was expecting it to be a weighted hoodie, not actually heavyweight for cold weather but it has very decent weight to it around the neck and shoulders area where the gaiter is and it's VERY VERY VERY COMFORTABLE LIKE "OMG I WANNA WEAR THIS FOREVER" KIND OF COMFORTABLE!!! This is definitely true to it's size chart but since I'm a woman ordering a men's hoodie, I went off chest size and ordered a large and it fits very well. Would definitely recommend women to order based off chest size if ordering this for themselves. Really nice shade of black and there's absolutely no weird coloring that looks out of place. Stitches feel solid but I haven't actually put it through durability boot camp and honestly don't want to. Now to clarify, I have severe depression and social anxiety from mistreated CPTSD and complete medical neglect plus I have sensory issues. The stitching feels comfortable on the inside as well as the fabric and the fabric is very soft. The hoodie itself isn't necessarily weighted like a weighted hoodie would be but it has thicker fabric which gives just barely enough pressure to give the illusion of being weighted which helps a lot better for my case specifically. The size I ordered is very non-restrictive and frees up body movement and mobility. Once again, I'm a woman who ordered based off my chest measurements since this is technically listed as men's clothing. The neck gaiter and hoodie section take a minute to readjust comfortably but it's definitely worth it and even feels comfortable resting on my face despite half of my sensory issues being related to my face. It's also very comfortable to sleep in and the sleeves and torso were the perfect length for me. Overall, damn good value for money. Best $50 I ever spent on clothing. And for anyone worried about the smell before buying it, it just has the typical fresh new clothing smell but I would recommend washing before wearing anyways if it bothers anyone.

The only thing I wish this jacket had would be a draw string for the face/neck part that goes over face so it's not so loose. Neither than that the jacket fits snug and comfy and gets compliments from people including a woman
