This is a really wonderful product! I’ve been able to mix it with Walmart acrylic paint and the consistency and quality of it is wonderful! It’s so nice because there’s so much more freedom with this medium than with your usual fabric paint. It also doesn’t dilute the original color of the paint at all which is nice. It just makes it slightly more watery so it bonds with the fabric. Before washing the fabric, I’ve been heat setting the paint as well just as an extra precaution. All in all, this is a really great product that’s easy to use and financially makes more sense than buying fabric paint if you already own acrylic paint. ... show more

Had friends over to stencil on t-shirts. We used folkArt or whatever other Acrylic paint i have. I gave everyone a small paper plate and squeeze NicPro fabric paint medium. Dab stencil brush in medium then paint, dab onto shirt. I wash my shirt.2 days after it dried.It turned out wonderful. So did all of my friends. smelled toxic, when mixed with paint add to much to your paint it drys tacky and dirt sticks to it and your skin and if you just wipe it with a bit of water the paint comes right off with much more ease then the paint alone and the paint comes off add a little then your paint is gonna just chip and crack and rub off ... show more

It worked well on experimental patio rug. I ordered 3 more jugs to do the rest of them for the deck. Mixed 1 part each of medium, water and latex paint. Rolled it on for the background color and used foam dauber for polka dots. I did order more!

Nicpro Professional Effects Fabric Medium, 8.45oz Bottle Fabric Painting Acrylic Fluid Medium, Improves Acrylic Paint Adhesion to Fabrics, Textiles for Fabric DIY Clothing, T-shirts, Shoes Jeans Bags First impressions: Small bottle of clearish but a bit cloudy liquid, ready to mix with your acrylic paints. The medium doesn’t have much of a smell but it seems pretty thin. Installation/setup: Mix with your acrylic paints to make them suitable for painting on fabric. Final thoughts: The ratio listed is 2 paint to 1 medium. The paint I used was a standard acrylic craft paint. I would recommend a thick body paint instead. Mine was too thin and runny to stay in place on the t shirt I was trying to paint. I used some tape to make a stencil and the painted area required several coats to turn it white. It didn’t really work for me, I ended up with poor adhesion and gave up, painting my shirt with straight paint and it didn’t survive washing well at all. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more
