I bought this set for a 10 day trip where I planned to use only a carry on and personal item so I needed to compress! These packing cubes were the trick! They are well made with nicely finished seams, no hanging strings or fraying edges. Heavy zippers and great sizes. I ordered the 6 piece set which had 2 each of 3 different sizes. I used both of the largest ones and one of each of the other two sizes. One large sized cube fit a down jacket, 3 sweaters and 2 long sleeved undershirts. The second large case fit 3 dress shirts, a light jacket and a dress. The medium size held 5 prs of pants, the small size; 5 pr of undies, a pair of gloves, knit scarf, 2 bras, and a bathing suit.     • 1 Week Hawaii Trip!

I took these on a one week Hawaii trip. I ended up using all but the electronics bag as I had my own that I preferred. I loved having the shoe bag for days after being on the beach. The dirty clothing could be bigger as I didn’t have enough to fit it all in. I think these worked pretty well giving me more space, but two of the times did I almost lose the zipper on them. Stretching it trying to get a lot in there is risky when trying to make it smaller, but I managed to zipper it back and try again. I was able to get it zipped up without losing the zipper! Over all id give it a 4.2 out of 5. I just think the zippers could be slightly better quality and maybe have a bigger, maybe stretchy netting, clothing bag instead or just larger. ... show more

I'm an overpacker, always have been. I'm that girl that packs a lot of "just-in-case" items. So the good points.....They are extremely well made, no doubt about it. Zippers worked well and they do somewhat compress your clothing. I chose to roll my clothes before putting into the cube as I was worried that folding them would get them really wrinkled. I normally do roll my clothes when I travel so this wasn't a problem for me. Items were not too wrinkled upon arrival so that was good. If you overpack the individual cubes they lay weirdly in your luggage. Meaning, that the edges are most definitely compressed but the center of the cube is bulging up big time. You can't really stack them well in your luggage if you overpack them because of this. I found myself to keep opening them up while packing and redistributing the clothes to other cubes. I dunno, maybe cause this was my first time using them, I really didn't see much of a benefit for my purposes. I didn't pack any less, it really didn't keep me organized in that sense at all. Plus, I hate that you can't really see what you're looking for. If you are traveling to multiple destinations in the same trip you definitely don't want to have to unpack every single thing. We recently went on a European cruise and spent the first couple of days in Venice before boarding the ship. Was frankly a royal pain in the neck for those couple of days trying to remember what I had packed into each of the cubes. I was constantly opening and closing muliple cubes looking for items. Maybe if you're going only to one destination, and unpacking immediately once you arrive, perhaps not so painful to use. When it was time to come home, I definitely did NOT use the cubes to organize my clothes for the trip back. Well, I take that back.....I did use one of them to put all my dirty clothes into and keep them separated from all the clean ones. Likely, on my next trip I will be bring ONE empty cube with me and use it the same way....only for the dirty clothes for the ride back home. ... show more

I was happy with this purchase, compression worked well, even when I over packed one. I was afraid it might mess up the zipper but it didn’t. My only complaint was the electronic cord bag, had cute compartments but didn’t really fit the cubes or back up chargers, I still used it though.

I travel a good bit for various reasons. I wanted something that could make packing my clothes take less space. These are perfect. Great variation in sizes. The cord/accessory case fits cords and plugs really well. And it might be one of the best toiletry bags I’ve tried.
