For tee shirts, cami's, tanks... this are great. They can hold quite a few tanks and camis, and 5 (lightweight) tees. I am a plus-size gal, but I had five light sweaters on one of these and within 20 minutes it had snapped the end hanging from my closet bar. So, to test, I put much lighter weight long sleeve shirts (long-sleeve tees, not incredibly heavy at all) and checked on them in 20 minutes and it was straining and I am positive had I left them on the space hanger, they would have been in the floor by morning. I tested with some of my (non-Jean) capri's out of curiosity and as soon as I removed one side, they were at the snapping point. However, regular fitted tees, camis and tanks stay fine. And, if your not plus-size you might have semi better luck with slightly heavier items, but I would never try these with jeans, heavy sweaters, or anything too hefty. Would not really recommend for the price. Might have better luck with a different brand.

Spend the extra few bucks on metal ones. I’ve had these for only a month and almost all of them have snapped cuz they can’t hold the weight of my shirts. Very disappointed

I bought these for my son who is in college. The problem is that the armoires provided at his school aren’t full length....so unless you have 5 feet or you’re young and your clothes are small your clothes will hit the floor.

I purchased to organize my closet and it saved some space and it did just that, at least horizontally, not quite vertically. It's a good idea to measure how low you want your clothes to hang down if you have plans to use the bottom of your closet for something else.Be careful not to handle it too rough as it can snap in half as one did on me. Overall for the price, this is awesome.

I think my Mom bought these back in the early 2000's?! ... I stole several and just recently realized I could use more. I bought these on a whim and they look and function exactly the same. The last few I have are still holding up after all these years, so I expect the same!
