I was having trouble starting 2003 Arctic Cat 250cc 4X4 ATV. it was sitting a bit, replaced fuel, fuel lines, air filter etc, still wouldn't start. Replaced the carburetor with this one, literally removed choke, throttle, fuel line, vent tube, and attached to same places on this carb and it fired right up. its running perfect now. as a side note, the factory owners manual for this artic cat uses 138/38 jets, this carb comes 125/38. but there is no noticeable difference. there are other spare jets the kit comes with, but i did not have to use those. i replaced the fuel line also, and reused the old vent tube, the one that comes with the kit is too short for my use. ... show more

Put this carb on when I received it after multiple times of rebuilding factory carb and it worked right out of the box. Set idle with the included idle set cable and start every time now.
