Would have rated a 5, if thicker. Supposed to be insulated,but the backing is very,very thin. Was very pleasantly surprised at the look of these. They look more expensive than they are. No shine,but have a lovely sheen to them, which keeps them (got a beige) from looking drab. They are supposed to be 84", but are only 83", but at least both sides are the same. If you live in an extremely cold area, I would not recommend these for good insulation. Here, in FL, they will be fine this winter. But for really cold weather, would get much thicker ones. ... show more

They are a soft pretty sage green. Keeps the room bright. The fabric is quality and blackout. I like that the inner side is white, and not black like other blackout curtains, especially when the main color is light too. I didn't have a lot of problems with wrinkles, just took time. I washed them in cold water with gentle laundry soap, dried low heat, and took them out just before they were all the way dry. I then ironed them on a med-setting; used spray on my iron on more wrinkled areas and lightly pulled it taut from the sides, and went over heavier wrinkles multiple passes until ironed out. It took me a while to go over the whole two panels thoroughly, but I pretty much got them completely free of wrinkles and they look great. Very happy with the appearance and quality of the curtains. ... show more

I purchased these to compliment the sheers by the same company. They are shorter than the sheers (although both labeled 63") and the material is pretty bad. They state poly/linen blend, well it's blended into a plastic coating. They look like a thick painter's drop cloth vs a curtain. But they are up for now. They do block the light. And are adding a degree or two of warmth from the windows. ... show more
