Awesome item. Does it exactly what it was intended keeps the heat in, block outs light and as a bonus I have also been using it as a projector screen. One thing to note is that I would add some extra length on the width.     • Nice curtains and they do muffle noise and keep drafts down

It does what it's supposed to do but you need to address air leaks first. So for me I live in NYC, which can be noisy, especially when you have an ac in the window and its wintertime and the ac needs to stay there. So I put on an ac insulated cover and covered any air leaks with the tape for insulation. Even with that, some air and lots of noise would get thru. I bought these curtains to see if it would help reduce noise and drafts. It definitely helps muffle regular street noise (not sirens or car horns) and there are no drafts. It does what it's supposed to do. But if you have air leaks, it will not fix the problem on its own. It's not meant to. You still have to plug up those leaks and then the curtains will do its job. Nice curtains for keeping the cold out. They hang nicely and color is as advertised. Wish they were just a little bit heavier but they do the job. We use them for heat retention but also darken the room well.

We have old windows in our living room. I bought these to block out the sun and keep the heat in and cold out. Since putting these up you definitely feel the difference In the living room. My husband loves them cause they block out the sun. You don't see anything through them. The color is exact along everything they mentioned in description. I have a furbaby that is extremely anxious during thunder and lighting storms,we have made a quiet room in basement to help,these curtains have blocked all lightening flashes and decrease sound enough he doesn't pace and pant nearly what he did prior.. plus the fabric is so nice and heavy.
