This curtain is just what I needed for a large window along the side of my front door. I do have wood slat blinds on that window, but they let a lot of light through the slats, they leave a draft from the window and also people outside at my door can see through the slats into the house even when they are closed. This curtain is the perfect solution! It is made of very nice, thick and soft material, very high quality. I think it's a little bit of a stretch to call them "thermal", but they are a couple layers thick and are much thicker than a standard drape. I think they will help with the draftiness of the room. They are not exactly light-blocking, but definitely light-filtering. And they provide a good amount of privacy, even if I had the blinds behind them wide open to let more light through. Took about 15 minutes to steam them to take the packaging wrinkles out, but the wrinkles came out very easily with the steamer. Was incredibly easy to mount them with the provided Velcro. I ended up putting the valance/molding from the blinds back on over top of them which I think adds a nice touch and should help make sure they stay up securely. They are lovely either up, or down. I did tuck a few curtain weights into the bottom hem to keep them hanging down straight and make sure they don't blow around too much when I open the front door, then just used a couple small pieces of double sided tape to seal up the ends of the hem so the weights won't come out when I put the drape up. (the weights I purchased separately). From the outside, with the wooden blinds open, these drapes behind the blinds give an appearance of nice fabric blinds in the window. My only complaint is that you can clearly see the ties hanging behind them when they are down, wish they'd thought of some way to tuck those up out of sight when not in use. They hang on the back-side of the curtains but they are clearly visible through the drapes. Fantastic product, would highly recommend for purchase! ... show more

These curtains are perfect. They are very easy to install, just a velcro strip, no tools. The velcro strips are very heavy duty and adhesive. The curtains block out the sun light extremely well even though they aren't marketed as room darkening. I'm extremely happy. Well worth the 60 bucks. (20 a piece). Highly recommend! ... show more

I am sure I could take my steamer to these to get the creases out, but I haven’t yet. I have had these up for a month now without any issues. I like that they could be installed without needing to use any hardware. The velcro is strong. They fit nicely on my french doors. These block out a LOT of light, the only light that shines through is from the sides. I’m sure the room would be almost dark if I had curtains or blinds on the other 3 windows in the room. They roll up easy enough if you wish to have them that way. For the price, I feel these are good quality. I am satisfied with my purchase! It is easier to sleep in now and I have privacy from anybody who may be outside on our wrap around deck. I attached photos with the ceiling light on & off. ... show more

My nephew has glass french doors leading to his bedroom. He's tried others curtains but these allow him to customize the curtain to obtain perfect coverage. There is no gap, and for a teen boy privacy is imperative. They block out all light, the quality is good and really an excellent value.

I have had these up for two days. They were easy to install , cover the glass well, block out the cold, and look nice on the doors. I had two sidelights to cover, a full door and a half door. I did iron them before I put them up, and be careful with putting up the Velcro strip. If you try to move it without following instructions you will remove the paint. ... show more

I have had this style curtain on a couple of my other doors for a year or two and I like the style and functionality. Recently purchased this curtain along with two smaller panels for our front door. After only a few weeks, the adhesive started coming undone and the curtain fell off.
