I reccomend you get the black color if you're looking for a complete blackout curtain look. Other colors are good for the design and looks. I looked around for drapes that did not have the rings on the top (they let light in), they had to drape properly and I found them. This is for a Class B RV or Van to blackout the back without covering the front side windows and front windshield, so when you look in, you do not see anything since they are recessed and totally black. I used snaps to get a very nice and snug fit, with very easy installation that I did myself. Super nice, very stealthy, easy, quick, and they look great! Why these are right for me: • Nice drape to them • They are black on both sides • Good blackout ability • They could not be too thick (I am used snaps to secure them) • I did not want the ‘plastic’ look (I guess this goes with draping) • Easy to work with • Light weight • Nice quality for the price • No rings (I like rings, just not for this use) My only hesitation is they are microfiber, but in this case the material is perfect. My RV is now rocking cool!

My sons room is western facing and the sun POURS into his bedroom during sundown. Where we live, the sun doesn’t set until 10pm during the summer, These curtains block out nearly all of the sunlight that heats and lights up his room, making it hard for him to sleep. We bought a curtain rod that is curved such that it bends toward the wall which allows these curtains to trap the light even more. These are worth every penny!

Have been using these curtains for I can't even tell you how long. They definitely block out the light if you install them correctly. The one thing that I was worried about was deterioration of the side that constantly faces the sun, because I have had curtains fall apart from that before. Then I remembered I do not live in Las Vegas anymore where the sun is 2 inches off the ground and basically eats everything it lays it's rays on. These curtains have not lost any of the durability or color after years of use. If you want to live like a Troll in the darkness of your cave, these are the curtains for you.

These do exactly wha they say they will and they dont reek of a chemical smell either. Maybe my bar has been lowered but I’m thrilled to find a product that does exactly as it was described to do for a good price and not smelling like an embalming suite. Excellent black out ability and helps very well with blocking the heat that I had coming in from my crummy old single pane front windows.
