So happy with this purchase! I bought 3 sets: one to cover a doorway, one to cover a closet and 1 to use on the windows. I am happy with ALL of them! Color: The color is beautiful! I had bought a set in gray years ago, but wanted to change things up so after painting the room I bought these in a lighter color, Natural. I was worried that the color may be off, but it is exactly what I wanted and expected. Texture: The curtains are thicker but not to terribly heavy. So soft to the touch. I should have placed them in the dryer to get out the creases before hanging, but I didn't. They still hang quite nicely. Blackout: I thought that the brightness from outside would come through because of the light color, but it really was better than my expectation. I live in Phoenix and the window faces north so I get all the sun in this room most of the day. Keeps the room dark and cool, even with the light color. It is not 100% blacked out, but it is much better than more expensive curtains i have tried. Easy to Install: i bought an Industrial style Curtain Rod so that they wrap around to cover the edges instead of open ends. The grommets just slid right over the rod, so easy. Smell: I did not notice any smell to them and like I said, I have 3 sets in 1 room. I may go back and actually purchase a lighter color since am confident that they will keep out a lot of the sunlight and will definitely purchase for other rooms. The price is excellent and the quality is exceptional! The photos were not retouched in any way to show how dark the room is. Love these drapes! I two pair in a guest bedroom and panel on either side of a pair of sheers with orange and white leaves in the dining room. Very pleased! At first I bought 3 sets that were too short, but they were easily returned and now my curtains are up and I’m really happy with them. They weren’t meant to be blockout curtains but they filter light really well. These curtains do blackout 80 percent of sunlight. I bought to try to keep out heat. As far as heat is concerned, it does block out enough heat to keep things bearable if it’s 80 degrees outside. But for higher temperatures, you still need an a/c unit running or a swamp cooler. They are thick and hang lovely. Curtains in patterns are beautiful. In pics you can see how much sunlight is blocked out compare to regular curtains. ... show more

I love these curtains. I have bought probably 7 sets over the years. They are thick enough to keep the sun out and not too heavy at the same time. They have a good assortment of sizes and I especially like the ones that fit perfectly over my in window ac unit. Colors are true to what is pictured.
