I looked around for drapes that did not have the rings on the top (they let light in), they had to drape properly and I found them. This is for a Class B RV or Van to blackout the back without covering the front side windows and front windshield, so when you look in, you do not see anything since they are recessed and totally black. I used snaps to get a very nice and snug fit, with very easy installation that I did myself. Super nice, very stealthy, easy, quick, and they look great! Why these are right for me: • Nice drape to them • They are black on both sides • Good blackout ability • They could not be too thick (I am used snaps to secure them) • I did not want the ‘plastic’ look (I guess this goes with draping) • Easy to work with • Light weight • Nice quality for the price • No rings (I like rings, just not for this use) My only hesitation is they are microfiber, but in this case the material is perfect. My RV is now rocking cool!

I ordered two sets of dark brown curtains to help block out light and to keep my bedroom (the hottest room in the house) cooler in the summertime. And so far, they're doing a great job. As long as I keep the curtains pulled during the hottest part of the day, I can actually stand to be in my room. And they keep the room absolutely pitch dark all day long. The second picture hardly does them justice. They keep the room so dark that I've over-slept a number of times since putting them in, because my brain didn't register it as morning.

I am planning on getting an actual curtain rod to hand this up properly but for now have it propped up over my current shades. They make the room much much darker but the way I have it set up some light comes in around the curtains. I think the cloth itself blocks about 95% of light. I bought these to help my baby not wake up so early in the summer months. Even with the fit not being perfect now and light coming in from around the curtains, my baby gets 30-45 min more sleep before waking up in the mornings. Would definitely recommend and I’m excited to get a pole for a better fit.

I need a very dark room to sleep. I’ve bought several ‘blackout’ curtains in the past that had plastic, vinyl or other backings but they ALWAYS discolor, crack, peel and look terrible from outside. These are the first I’ve bought that look great inside and out. They really do work without the ugly backing. Definitely ordering more for guest bedroom.

These are EXACTLY what I was looking for! Inexpensive room darkening curtains. I cannot speak on thermal properties yet as I just hung them and it's evening with setting sun on opposite side of house. My bedroom is rising sun side and zero tree cover on this corner of the house so we'll see. Slightly wrinkled out of the package but nothing a few minutes in the dryer on low heat with wet rag in there didn't fix. First picture is lights off and curtians closed, second is light off and curtians open, and last two are of them with lights on in the bedroom. To me they're more red than burgundy but love the color otherwise. I had patterned curtains before so the plain is kinda eh to me. Overall very pleased with this purchase, just wish there were some patterns that would work with my bedroom.

I do not like Amazon using USPS. They do not bring your stuff to the door like UPS. Not happy ay all with the delivery at all. I have had a few large boxes left at the end of my drive way. Right now I have hurt my knee and can't get them up to my door , in my house. Last few orders have came by mail. NOT HAPPY with them not using UPS ! I Still love Amazon !
