We got the black blackout curtains and they filter the light very well. Our building has flood lights outside the bedroom windows and these curtains block out 90% of it. They seem durable and fit on our curtain rods well. Some of the light does bleed out of the sides and top, but that's mainly because our windows/space is a weird in between size and we sized down slightly.

I dont know if I buy the black layer between the fabric stuff they claim to have, but it works okay for me. They do look nice and they block most of the light. The picture I attached has closed blinds behind them taken at about 11:30 am, looking west, on a partly cloudy day. You can see there's some bleed through of light, so they aren't true Blackout curtains, but they're good enough for me to keep them.

Not just for house windows … must haves. Epic price. Perfect more many uses. During renovations of a vintage 1900 property figured out having a curtain snug the windows is the best way to curb the cold and up the R value. Or, help during extreme heat. Another epic use, the Jeep used for travel like an RV is equipped with these on three sides in the back. Reflectix for the front window and custom made for the half door windows. Assisting in making the interior a tiny oven keeping us warm when the temp dips at night. And, keeps the light out easy peasy. Most windows we use one panel. Drawing them in the opposite direction using black spring loaded rods. This technique has helped during renovations for privacy. Keeps the rooms much warmer in winter. And, unless I move the curtain the smoking hot sun can’t break the barrier. With the black out ability we’re able to sleep in as needed. At home or on the road. Driving late into the night it’s wonderful to sleep past dawn as needed. For those enjoying the travel option, for sound, train on brown noise throughout the year. Then, when camping on the road at Loves stations or anywhere, use brown noise … I plug the phone into my Jackery and use an app called White Noise that hosts unlimited Brown Noise, too. Mack’s ear plugs for louder than normal stops with brown noise and a comfy face mask if the lighting in the stop is peeking through the sides of the curtains as an extra layer. You’ll get exceptional sleep. With incredible sunrises. I like to park with the tailgate toward fields in places like Montana and the mountains along the coast. But could be anywhere. A big plus, discounts on second, third, and more orders of the same size. If you’re looking for fancy, these can dress up a window with a linen curtain between the window and curtain. Using similar black spring rod. I prefer a single panel. If you’re handy could cut the curtain in half. Stitch an edge. Custom fit to the window and now ya have two halves for opening both directions. Showcasing the linen panel underneath. I prefer a single linen panel. Shades the room from sun in summer. Totally impressed with my color matching skills. Goes really well with my blanket. The hues are gorgeous. The material is quality. Will work really well for the winter! The sizing however is much different than expected. From side to side one panel covers my entire window which means it's like about a 10in difference, which is fine because that means I can just use another panel for another window in my house if I wanted. The length from ceiling to floor is exactly what I had envisioned so it worked really well. Overall extremely satisfied and glad I found what I was looking for!

the color appears a bit brighter than ‘burgundy’ but only a teeny bit. i’m ok with it bc i don’t want gloomy colors. the material is soft once washed & there wasn’t an odd smell, but it wouldn’t have mattered if there was bc i washed them before hanging them. i did so to release the wrinkles from the curtains being packaged. 36” length was too short even being hung with curtain clips. the next length would’ve been much too long for my kitchen windows, but taking out the rod pocket stitching was a cinch. and now the length is perfect. so far they’ve done a nice job of blocking the AZ sun & my west facing kitchen is noticeably cooler since hanging them. as i said, i used curtains clips to hang them on the rod bc i didn’t want to fuss with grommets or rod pockets. i expect many months of use out of them. we’ll see how the fabric holds up to constant western sun exposure. good product for the cost. do recommend.

I honestly wasn’t expecting them to be great. They’re very durable and just the right thickness. I love that the back is the same as the front, a lot of black out curtains are just black or grey on the back side. These are absolutely beautiful. I’m very impressed with the quality and how well they block out lights. Again, very impressed with the quality and highly recommend!
