These are truly blackout curtains. Light does not get through. I don't use them for windows. I have bought 3 sets now. I do not have whole house AC- old house. These help keep the heat from the parts of the house that have the window units. I used to use a thinner blackout curtain and was unhappy with how much heat got through. The thermal works great. They're appearance is good. The colors are deep and clear. They fit great. They are easy to use, but are a bit heavy to lift to the permanent place of the curtain rod. They are soft and not scratchy when you walk through them. Did I mention I've bought 3 sets?

I bought these for my preschool classroom. I LOVE the color and was worried the sun would peek through but that is not the case. It is actually a lot darker than is shown in my picture where they are shut. They are very thick, soft, great insulation, and the black liner on the back helps block out the light. We like them so much the other preschool classroom at my school is considering getting them. The color is beautiful, just what I wanted. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for curtains. I imagine they will wash easy but haven’t tried it yet.

These curtains do a good job blacking out light and keeping my room dark. I’m pretty sensitive to light when I’m trying to fall asleep, so these really help me sleep and stay asleep. My only issue is that they’re not quite wide enough to cover my very wide and short windows, but it’s more due to the fact that the rings aren’t big enough for the pole they’re on, so they can’t stretch out as wide as they really are. So that’s not an issue with the product, it’s more of an issue with the curtain rod that I have. The color is nice, they’re easy to slide on the curtain rod, and they’re nice and thick. Overall I would recommend these to anyone looking for blackout curtains as they’re fairly priced, and these also have a wide size varity which is mostly why I chose these specific ones. They were one of the only brands that had curtains wide enough for my windows, and they work well too.

These curtains are not 100% blackout. Light still comes through. They are not cheap looking and I do like them. I’m just a little disappointed that they are not 100% blackout.

Very good quality made and feel of fabric. Thick and well made. Definately full blackout and heavy curtains. Very good value for price. I ordered the blueish greyish. Such a nice color and changed the feel of the room. I have to return them and get another install setup only because my rod was too big for the grommets to move easily and freely. With thayt said, this will fit on a bigger rod but I recommend using it with a small rod if you will need to use these daily and need them too move easily and freely and not catch on. Other then that, these are fabulously elegant and I will be ordering the same color from the same company just a different install setup. Very happy with purchase. Good job Nicetown!

NICETOWN blackout curtains do a great job blocking sunlight and keeping the room cooler.
