Great quality, true black out! The tie ups are easy to use. Only complaint is they don’t stay attached when you want to undo them. So they can get misplaced. Hanging them was easy and having to options to adjust length was great!

I have ordered Nicetown curtains several times, and have always been happy with the quality. These curtains are thick, but not to heavy, so they were easy to hang on thin rods. I love the woven, linen-like texture. If you really want to use them as blackout curtains, you will need to space your upper and lower rods further apart to the side of the curtains stay tight, but you will not be able to use the center tie very easily, if at all. I left mine a bit looser (rods closer together) so I could use the tie. They still darken the room significantly with minimal light coming through from the sides. Highly recommend! ... show more

I really like the color and material. The curtain looks like linen. They aren't lined but have a blackout backing. I've not tested the blackout quality yet and am not concerned as the curtain is on a kitchen side door. It came with a wide tie back with a hook and loop closure that I didn't use but it's nice to have. It came folded in a bag and quite wrinkled, as you can see. I'll have to steam the panel. I shopped around on Amazon looking for something that had a good look and would be light blocking for a glass front door and two side-lights. These are "Angora" and the color is just as represented. The sidelights were 10" wide so I made sure to order the 26" width to allow for a nice shirring on the top and bottom. The door width option wasn't as large a ratio of fabric to width but it still looks good. Secret to a good look is a taut pull from the top rod to the bottom. Fortunately I had a helper, or I should say, I was the helper and he was in charge of the actual elbow grease labor with the rod installation. These photos were taken 2:30 with a western exposure on a full sunny day. Now I'll give a top rating to the curtain rods as well. ... show more
