  • Worth every penny over the stock one.
Worked flawless on a 139qmb 50cc short case engine. I put a big bore kit on to 72cc but kept stock head. At first I rigged a 5 hp Briggs carb onto the engine using this intake and it didn’t start easy(no choke on the carb I used) but once it did, it ran way better then Expected. I made the up grade to a nibbi carb I believe the 24mm one and after swapping around the included jets iv gone from 23.4 mph to 34.3 average( remember from Briggs carb). I highly recommend going with the full nibbi line up of throttles, cable, carb, and intake. I found a k&n air filter for $24 that fit perfect on here also. It’s impressed everyone who’s rode it and iv put well over 1000 miles on with the bore kit and nibbi intake system. The only thing that changed was the the location of the nipple that the vacuum from the head attaches switched sides and I had to remove the little plastic cover over the timing chain tensioner is all. But it shorten and cleaned up the look on my bike. Great solid products from nibbi and also I received some packages in less then 24 hours with prime. But they did get shipped from only one state over. All packages were received in less then 48 hours from them ... show more

  • Works great but may take modif
This won't work in every application. I had to machine adapters to make it work in my application on a Chinese 150 scooter.

  • You will need longer bolts, a gasket, and a vacuum cap
Product worked as advertised had it come with bolts and a vacuum cap. A trip to autozone and lowes made it work. I installed this on an Apollo DB-x18.

  • Great high performance/ high airflow
It's a great part for maximum airflow, I even installed on my 50cc JMSTAR SHENKE GY6 50cc scooter and it fit like a glove and now it's running great!!! Would highly recommend this piece of you're changing out the carb like I did

  • Will not work on dbx18
Do not listen to the people saying it will work on the Apollo dbx18 dirtbike. The manifold on the bike is offset. This one isn’t and the carb will not fit. The carb will be hitting the pipe. Unless you find a hose to connect it to the carb and a perfect angle it won’t work.

  • Good quality materials.
Overall, I like the feel and the quality of the materials. The Good: The stainless steel hose clamps feel good and work smoothly. The silicone coupling feels fantastic and has internal sealing ridges, to make sure that you have a nice tight seal once tightened down to the carb. The aluminum bulk of the body feels good and the brass Barb seems pretty standard from the plumbing section of the hardware store. The machining of the holes to mount this to the motor has some some rough edges, but will work as-is. The Cons: The groove for the O-ring to seal against the motor is not at an even depth and will cause problems down the road. Pictures will show that one side allows the o-ring to sit at a proper depth, while the other side would crush the o-ring and mean that you will get leaks and have to replace each time that it is removed. Pictured...poorly: Inside the turn of the aluminum 45deg elbow, there is relatively large lip that will need to get ground down and sanded smooth. If the step of the lip faced the other direction it would have less impact on the flow of air. Overall it is a good piece with good materials to start with, but will take some elbow grease, tools, and some attention to detail to make the most of it. ... show more

  • Added additional clearance and nice look
2008 Honda Ruckus w/GY6 (150cc) swap. Added nice appearance while also giving the clearance needed. Highly recommended
