It's a pretty good shirt but not without a flaw. Good: the material is nice and thick; not as thick as a Hanes Beefy T, but thick enough to feel of quality. The material out of the shrink wrapped bag feels smooth. The sizing is true. And my shirt was jet black in color (looks lighter in the photo). Bad: the shoulder seam is not sealed like my Old Navy Tee in comparison (see photo). To make matters worse, there's a plastic refinforcement underneath the threading of the seam which might make the texture even more scratchy if it comes in contact with the skin (see photo). The shirt is well made from good quality cloth that is more than heavy enough. The basic size runs about right but the waist seems a little short. I washed it on a gentle cycle with cold water and air dried out in the sun. I didn't notice much, if any, shrinkage. The price is $3 or $4 higher than what I can buy the equivalent shirt at the big box store (when they have them) ... show more

I'd been waiting to buy a long sleeve plain white shirt for a few months and finally took the plunge. This shirt is comfortable and seems well built. The L size is a nice fit for my 6'5" frame and it still fits after a the first wash on cool cycle. Well, I should hope so.
