Easy to use, sticks very well, simple to apply, easy to cut to fit with utility scissors. Once applied properly these can be vacuumed. I use a roller broom as the suction from the vacuum rolled up a corner that wasn't cut perfectly square. A little carpet tack adhesive fixed that just fine. The difference in the room is like night and day. Went from ugly cold echo creating tile to a beautiful carpeted space in a few hours. You can take your time it doesn't have to be done all at once. The colour is a smoke gray and very pleasant to the eyes, compliments the decor and softens the room, the noise, and keeps it warmer than tile and won't slip like a rug could. It would be very good to use for noise reduction in rooms used for gaming or music or sewing machine noises are. I'm considering other spaces I could use these... they are great ... show more

Useful carpet squares. I used mine to put on shelves I put up for my cats to add traction. The backing is extremely sticky, to the point where when you pull the paper off, some of the glue comes off with it and sticks to the paper. This does not affect how sticky the squares are, however, but where the glue has come off the tile and onto the paper, you can see through the square, so they're extremely thin. The glue coming off doesn't leave bald spots, they're just very thin so you can see through them somewhat when the glue comes off. Once they're in place, they're great. No bald spots, they stay in place, and in my case, they've offered traction and comfort to my cat shelves, which was exactly what I wanted them for. I've ordered four boxes of them now. I will say that, at least to me, the smokey grey color is more of a blue/grey. ... show more

I've been building a cat super-highway to entertain my two Devon Rexes. To keep them safe while running around on the wood shelves, I used these carpet tiles so they would be able to grip them more securely. The tiles stick great and are easy to trim. I feel safer knowing they have something they can dig their toenails into if necessary. My littlest cat has already found out how great the carpet is when fighting with her sister got her knocked off one shelf and left her hanging onto the carpet tile until she could pull herself back up! ... show more

I’ve ordered plenty of these the past couple years, when it comes to quality, it’s a shot in the dark. Some boxes have tiles that peel easily from the protective backing, but many have protective backing that takes the adhesive WITH it upon removing the backing. This means it will NOT stick to the surface you are applying it to. I’ve had 3 boxes like this, unfortunately you can’t return items you’ve already opened and attempted to use, so now I’m stuck with unusable tiles and out of money! ... show more

On a whim, I made my older cat a ramp so he could get up to the counter where we feed him (we have dogs, so he needs a private place to eat). The ramp didn't turn out as planned and I don't think our cat has used it once, but the stick-on carpeting I used to add traction went on very well and looks quite good. It was very easy to stick on and then trim with a utility knife. This is one of the less expensive carpet tiles and it seems perfect for projects like this.
