With this extra width, the corners do hit the floor, I just tuck a small piece under the corner of the mattress and it looks great while staying off the floor. It is not fluffy, but I didn’t really need that. My husband sleeps hot but hasn’t had any issues with this one. It has a nice, smooth feel and sheen to it; if I was more confident in my washer I might not use a duvet cover. (Pic is without cover.) The 8 ties for a cover are helplful. The best for hot sleepers-I did not expect this level of comfort. Plenty wide for King bed no more fighting for covers, plenty of blanket. I figured I would just 'settle" if It did not meet all my expectations, No settling just a perfect, comfortable sleep.

I absolutely love this duvet insert. I have been having night sweats continuously since I entered perimenopause. I sleep alone and yet I would always wake up drenched in sweat every night of the week. This comforter has saved me. Since putting it on the bed five nights ago I haven’t had any night sweats at all. Our second floor does not get that cold and my bf is a hot sleeper, so buying this was a must. So far we have been loving it! But I do suggest also investing in a COOLING duvet cover & cooling sheets.

Super size King was perfect size. Love the way it feels, perfect weight, very soft/luxurious. Loved it so much bought another as a gift. A month later I still love the weight & feel but it’s now developing the little tiny holes with stuffing coming out that other reviewers had mentioned. I thought those reviewers must had gotten a fluke “second” or that they had pets whose claws were damaging it but mine is doing in on the top side and the under side; no pet damage or other reason/explanation for this strange occurrence. This blanket was not inexpensive, and should not be disintegrating like this. I’m keeping it because I still love the way it feels, already threw the packaging away and too much trouble to bring it to shipping facility -I won’t be purchasing another one from Dane seller/manufacturer when this one wears completely out. Wondering if more mysterious homes will appear…Sad and disappointing. Embarrassing if the mysterious holes appear in the one I gifted, gift recipient will think it was a cheap blanket!
