I got the terra-cotta Burnt orange and let me tell you, as a plant collector, the terra-cotta is the perfect color. I love the color of a brand new or wet terra cotta pot. It’s my favorite (see the pot on my head rest for color reference). The the same as shown on photo, lighting makes it look different. I would recommend getting this color if you often get natural lighting. Otherwise I would assume warm to white light colored bulbs would make it look bright orange according to the other reviews I’ve read. The color is rich, the ties help to keep in place however I wish my comforter can with a strap in the middle parts of all four sides so that I can strap it down better because it does move a lot but not as bad. That’s not this companies fault however they are very thoughtful to place straps on all four corners and on all four middle parts to secure your comforter much better. I really enjoy it. This duvet is not soft, it is kind of rough feeling but in the best way possible. It feels great on my skin, like a little massage, it feels luxurious. It does tend to wrinkle wherever the duvet is most loose. ... show more

I'm overall really happy with this duvet cover and will be keeping it! It's one of those cases where I'm happy I paid a bit more than the dirt cheap option, and the quality actually shows (it's soft, not scratchy!). Terracotta color notes: I do see that the seller has made an effort to show what the "terracotta orange" color looks like in different lights, and while I appreciate that, it clearly wasn't *quite* adequate to prepare some customers (myself included) for the color that shows up on their doorstep. It's not even that I take issue with the color name--if you do a Google image search for terracotta orange, the top results will get you very close to this shade. However, the color I sampled directly from the product picture is more of a faded neutral earthy hue (see my color chart, Coolors calls it "Brown Sugar"), compared to the Thanksgiving tablecloth vibes that you get in person (Think: bronze, rustic pumpkin, burnt yams, harvest festival). Luckily, I can roll with the more vibrant color, and am happy to put this in my bedding rotation just in time for fall. :) ... show more

I was looking for a color similar to Cacao by Bed Threads and this is the closest I've found. It's a dark burgundy but not too purple. In person it has a tinge of brown to it which is pretty much like the color I wanted. It looks pretty accurate to the product pics but I attached some of my own pics and tried to capture the color the best I could. 1st pic is under artificial white light, 2nd pic is just daylight from the window. ... show more

Pros: nice linen lookalike, decently soft. Cons: color does not match. I ordered the mocha brown and it’s a much more saturated terracotta. I was actually going to keep it because I still liked the color, but I’m returning the duvet I ordered to go with it and decided to send this back as well and go with a stand-alone comforter. I bought the Nexhomepro cream gray 98" x 98" duvet cover and the fit is great for my 14" mattress. The color is cream in any light I tried, not gray, but it works fine for me. I only wish the pillowcases were queen or king sized instead of standard.
