So I bought several other duvet covers looking the perfect one off of Amazon. The first struggle is most are that most aren’t true to color. Instead of earth tones and a true natural, rusty tone, they kept being this ugly pumpkin orange (no offense to pumpkins!) This one is actually the shade of the photos so I adore it! It’s super soft and has almost a suede feel to it. Downsides, it is a bit thin so you want a thicker one, I wouldn’t recommend this one. I love that it’s light and breathes well so it’s perfect to me. The only complaint is that it was literally shipped open in the plastic bag that they cover comes in with just a shipping label slapped on it. By the time it got to me, the zipper had come undone and half of the cover was powdered with blackish whatever grossness is found on the floorboards of a postal truck. It didn’t stain and came out after a wash, but the fabric does bleed so I would wash it separately from any other materials. I’m not sure after the first wash since I haven’t made it that far yet, but just a heads up! Overall I love it and already ordered a second one for my daughter’s bed, I just hope they’ll actually start coming in legitimate shipping packages. 😣 ... show more

I bought the rust/burnt orange color and now trying to take photos I can see why others had issues capturing the color. Even in my own photo it looks really orange but it’s really a dark burnt orange color (google “Pantone rust” for a accurate color) so if that’s what you’re looking for then this is a great color. I washed it before putting it on my bed and had no issues with it, you will have to readjust it and put it in for a second dry like any other large bedding item. I LOVE this color! This was my first time using a duvet cover. As soon as I got it I washed it. The texture of the cover did not change and it was super soft. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone!

The color on this is just what I was looking for and matches the picture well. It is not too bright orange just the right burnt orange tone.
