It is soft, warm, and the color is a nice rust, not orangey. When I got it, I put it through a steam refresh cycle on my dryer, which fluffed it up nicely. Before the box arrived, I got a email from thr shipper giving me details on how to (fluff up) the Comforter. I have to say, It kinda made me mad. That should of been in the description some where. If it had been I wouldn't have bought it. When it arrived it was in the smallest box. I thought what is this? There is no way possible a queen size Comforter is in that box. Well it was. It was wrapped so tight in a air sealed package, every ounce of air was sucked out. At that moment I didn't even want to open it. I wanted to just send it back. But I needed something for that spare bedroom as I had family coming to visit. So, I absolutely love the color. But I don't really think it falls under the Comforter category. It's more like a quilt. I have been using this comforter for about 8 months now and I have been a real fan of this one! This is not like a regular walmart or target kind of a product. The comforter for sure is not light weight. It is slightly heavier. The filling is completely distributed without making one place less of filling and the other being more. The edges have been well made too. You can see in my second picture and can understand it's about 1.5" in thickness. This makes sure that the filling is uniform throughout and doesn't leave any space anywhere. Sometimes I use it as a mattress topper. It's very comfortable and keeps warm during winters!
