I wash my hands a lot and then also my skin is extremely dry in the winter and the tips of my fingers have cracked and a Band-Aid will not stay on it. I ordered this and it works exactly as they said it would and right now my cracks are healed in my fingers from applying this regularly.

It works well for deep fingertip cracks, but in my experience, not as a stand-alone product by itself. Expect to also regularly use a moisturizer on your hands and take other precautions like wearing gloves when doing work in the cold outdoors or when scrubbing pots & pans, etc...Having said that, it is a very useful addition to that regimen. My chief beef is that this is a ridiculously expensive product for just .24 ounces. And on top of that, you will never use up the bottom quarter-inch in the bottle, because even if you use it regularly, that last bit in the bottom will harden and yellow over the course of a month or two (see attached photo of a used bottle right next to a brand-new bottle). Also, as the product gets used up, the applicator brush no longer sits immersed in the liquid, and it becomes brittle and difficult to use. ... show more

I tried liquid bandage and it burned too much. My wife got me this for cracks at my fingertips during winter and it is awesome! Recently I used it to cover/seal a large open scrape in my hand and it worked great for that too!

I’ve tried so many products to help the cracked skin around my thumb, I even went to the dermatologist, she gave me a cream but this product works so much better. I’ll keep this in my house all the time, so glad I found this on Amazon

I get cracks/splits in my thumbs all the time. I was hoping this would help based on the positive reviews but it has a lot of cons. - It doesn't last long, washes off. - Its sticky feeling. - You have to apply more than one layer at a time. So I mean, it helps a bit for recovery but not when it has to keep being applied. I like that it doesn't burn when I put it on. Just was hoping for a better product. I'm not sure if I'll buy again.
