Great looking shelf for a decent price. I put this up in my office and it gives the space a nice rustic look. Installation was pretty straightforward. However, You will need a drill bit in order to insert the drywall anchors. For the shelf, make sure to line up the screw holes so that they are both facing down. As for the sturdiness, it’s great. I was looking for something to put in the corner of my kitchen to get some of my (excessive) plants off the table and these were just the right size! I could tell they were a light color from the picture, but looked much lighter when received in person. They looked completely unfinished. However the pro to this was that I could EASILY refinish the shelves to exactly match what I needed. These shelves took stain like a charm with basically little to no sanding, and it only took one coat for the final finish. Now the shelves match my floors and some other plant stand items that I had previously redone. Overall I love the look so I would probably buy again in the future, it just took a quick extra step to upgrade the quality. Sturdiness wise, with the wall anchors they are holding my potted plants well. Being light weight shelves I would avoid adding anything excessively heave as I’m not sure they could support without an L bracket for stability. ... show more

When I started putting these together, I was really concerned. The design was really cute, but they seemed very unstable, and I was planning to put them in my laundry room to hold heavy items like detergent. 3 months down the road, they are still up and doing great! They don't even sag under the weight of a full glass jar with detergent pods. I'm REALLY HAPPY with this product! ... show more

I was looking to put something in our kitchen corner and those shelves fit perfectly! Easy to assemble but not the most sturdy even though it’s not made to sit on it so a plant and a few decorations will perfectly hold. Great price and good looking!

Purchased two of these for a small space in my toilet room. The wood was a little light so I stained it to match my existing wood accents. It stained a little darker than I hoped, but they still look and function perfectly! Love the size and look!
