Cute in concept but definitely not what I was expecting. Issues: 1) i ordered the newborn size. This was definitely not made for a newborn! Although the tag stated as such, this outfit was closer to 6/9 months if not larger. It could clearly be a small 12 months. 2) the shirt/onsie is made of cotton like most infant clothing. But the pants are satin or high polished cotton. More like the material women's slips are made of. So the materials of the outfit are not the same. 3) the "hairbow" is not a hairbow but an extremely long piece of material. I didn't measure it, but it's easily 2 feet long. So it's not something you could even fix to fit on a newborn's head unless you cut it in two pieces and know how to tie a nice bow. Not to mention, it too is made from the same satin type material which is a type of material that easily slides. So any bow that you're able to make from it definitely isn't going to stay in a a bow and for sure won't stay on a newborns head. Unless you stitched the bow together once you make it and add some type of clips or velcro to keep it on a baby's head. But if you have to do all that, why even buy this? So, unfortunately, I am very disappointed in this purchase all the way around. I bought this outfit for my new granddaughter who we were having pictures made in a sunflower field as a gift for her mom for her first mother's day. We had to run out and purchase another outfit from a department store since this one was extremely too big and not what we were expecting at all. So please keep in mind if you do decide to purchase this, the sizes run vastly larger than what is stated. The hairbow is NOT a hairbow, so be prepared to make one yourself out of the piece of material that they send. ... show more
