This kit is a really good value for anyone looking to do some airsoft/paintball or military LARPing or cosplay. It's a good mix of items and the quality is decent considering the low cost. It's strong enough that you can be active in it and it won't fall apart. It's more like a very cheap version of the real thing instead of being completely fake like a Halloween costume. The plate carrier is obviously the best part. It can accommodate actual plates (see images) front, rear, and sides, believe it or not. It has more than enough room and the velcro is strong enough even when running. The entire vest is modular since all of the included attachments are MOLLE. Other things like the shoulder pads and radio gear is attached with velcro and can be removed as well. I added a couple things to the vest like a flashlight holster and pouch and it's correctly measured for real MOLLE attachments. I'm 5'8" and 175 pounds and the vest fits great with adjustment in both directions. Shoulder straps are adjustable too. This vest is clearly a clone of a real vest and just made cheaply, so it's pretty smart with its features and pretty comfortable since it's so adjustable. The hat is also a standard size. Velcro adjustable with a spot for patches on the front and back. The balaclava is comfortable and can accommodate a headset, which is cool. Standard fit and breathable. Basically identical to real ones. The gloves are the most noticeably cheap inclusion. They also fit my medium/large hands and are comfortable, but they're made quickly and cheaply and aren't going to be particularly durable. They're totally fine for cosplay but they wouldn't last long if being actively used outdoors. The have a high-friction rubber strip under the middle and ring fingers to enhance grip which is pretty cool. They have lots of loose threads out of the box. This kit is super fun and a REALLY good value. This is as close as you could get to a plate-carrier with extras without just buying a real one for triple the cost. ... show more

This is definitely an airsoft/paintball set, it's great, but not real world tactically sound. It's thin and light, and has a variety of pockets and storage, but has alot of stitching issues here and there and isn't the highest quality. It's good, don't get me wrong here, but if you desire to use it above and beyond airsoft and paintball, don't, you will be let down. S use it for what it IS FOR! The hat is cool, the stretch mask is polyester and nice and cool/light weight. The gloves are neat and allow access to triggers without limiting you, blast those enemies with that paint! i like the shoulder straps, they are comfortable, and adjustable, just like the side panels. There is a ton of generous Molle loops for customization, truly the best aspect of this vest for sure. The rear has most of them, along with a rounded dump pouch at the top near your shoulders. The bottle holder is good, but I'm likely going to install it on the back closer to the side. Once its adjusted, it's easy to use and slide on and off relatively quickly. I bought this set for tactical training at the firing range. The gloves are really low end in terms of quality as is the balaclava. The hat is all right. But the vest is very nice. Everything is usable, but the tactical vest is well made, feels like it's going to put up with quite a bit of of abuse, and is extremely adjustable. The shoulder straps are comfortable and there are a ton of pockets and places to put various items. I'm not playing Commando here so I don't have a canteen, but there's a place to put one if I did. The mag patches hold fully loaded mags of various sizes without too much pull on the vest. I can't complain at all about the value I got from this order. ... show more

This tactical vest set has meticulous attention to detail. It features plenty of MOLLE webbing for attaching accessories, and the Velcro is incredibly secure. Best of all, the quick-release feature is both safe and fast. The hat looks great, and the gloves have a non-slip palm design for a stable grip. I nearly gave this five stars, because it came with a hat, gloves, and camo balaclava. The only reason it got four stars is because it is certainly for paintball or airsoft. While it could work as an armor plate carrier the fabric is not quite the stiff canvas you want for durability. I do love the pockets this came with. I will probably put them on my higher end armor plate carrier. The carrier pocket on this one has a bit of foam in there to help absorb impact from paintballs. So it is certainly great for that. The hat has velcro on the top, back and front. So you can put patches on it. I would assume the back and top velcro are actually for a battery and an IR LED to make your face invisible to IR cameras… (not advocating that behavior, unless necessary) but it just seems likely that this could be used in a bug out kit. The media could not be loaded. The fabric and straps are strong. The hat is light weight, but I know fabrics and this one is a strong rip stop weave. The vest design allows you to customize the arrangement on the vest because the zipper closure bag and triple pocket pieces have snapping straps that come off or attach to the multiple horizontal straps that are sewn all over it for holding ammo, tools, flashlight, etc. They even thought of a Velcro piece on the hat front to hold your favorite patch. It has large Velcro shut pockets too. The straps adjust for size. The head and face cover keeps you warm in the bitter cold and the gloves will warm your hands with fingers free for detail work like loading ammo. Don’t leave it lay in the sun for long periods cause the sun can age fabric. We love this for use with our new airgun. ... show more
