Getting started, I had two broken Hella lights and was determined to never buy another factory light for it. It just seemed to be a waist of money plus, rocks always seemed to find that fog light cutout and busted them time and time again. I have a 2003 Ram Laramie 2 Wheel Drive. I started by making sure that my headlights are adjusted properly at 25 feet on flat ground and, against a flat wall with painters tape as my cutoff line marker. I then adjusted the fog lights till the fog light cutoff line just started to blend with the lowest part of the headlights beam pattern. Once adjusted I then walked to the front of the truck checking the fog lights initial pickup line that the fog lights shine onto the ground. This is the line closest to the front of the truck. Fine tune and adjust the lights initial pick up lines so that these lines are matched. You will be all set and pleasantly surprised with the results. Creating and following these instructions gave me a light out put from the fog lights that was better than I truly imagined. The blend is perfect which you will see in the photos I add later on. They look great - so much brighter - great aesthetic for my truck - give only 4 stars because the plug didn’t work - had to clip off/ bypass the plug and wire directly - description says they will fit 06 Ram 1500 but had to alter the wiring to fit - bit of a pain but still looks great.
