I bought this to mount a small Jacobs chuck on the tailstock of my import 10x18 lathe. It’s very nicely finished and is accurately sized. It’s a good value.

Threaded Drill Chuck Arbor 2MT to 3/8"-24 Hardened Morse Taper MT2 Adapter. This chuck arbour runs true with a good chuck. The General International DP2003 drill press i purchased frpm Amazon has a 2MT to 3JT arbour with an awesome 5/8 chuck. Trouble is a 5/8 chuck won't hold a #40 drill :~( Pulled the 3/8" chuck off a junk cordless drill with 3/8-24 mount. Press only runs clockwise so keper screw was not needed. Done! ... show more

although the angle of the taper is correct and it fits snug in the table, it's a mm too wide at the top so it won't seat. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to seat entirely as I don't know if this is an intended use, so I measured it. the table measures correctly. if the arbor was in spec, it would have seated so that the flange met the table closely enough to where I could have machined the flange or what I'm mating it to for a perfect fit. I won't bother ordering a new one. I'll throw this on the lathe. we'll see how well it was hardened. ... show more
