    • A Straightforward, Effective Annealer.
After doing a lot of research and watching many videos on YouTube, I picked the Burstfire annealer for my annealing. I am very happy with it! It was extremely straightforward to set up and get going. Out of the box and running in just a few minutes. The timing adjustment is super smooth. I would set the timer to heat the brass about 7-8 seconds seemed right, just when the necks just turned red/ orange they would drop. The hand adjustment of the torch is helpful. I personally left the clamp a little loose so I could telescope the torch inward just a little as the bottle became cold and the flame lessened. This is the limitations of propane, not a design error. The brass looked just like factory annealed. I did 6.5 Swedish, .308 Winchester, 7mm-08, .300 Winchester Magnum, and .45-70 easily. Changing the rotor from standard to magnum is simple. Very versatile. I liked setting the flame tip not on the center of the neck, but off to the top half and a little on the shoulder. The distance the blue flame tip is away from the brass matters. A little tweaking will get it just right. The hoper is a real boon. Once you get it adjusted for a particular cartridge, you can easily fill it up and watch it do the work. It was steady and trouble free. This makes annealing easy and quick. Throw in the fact it is also a powered prep station makes it a bargain. It is assembled in Taiwan from US parts. Taiwan has a strong, high quality manufacturing industry now. The majority of the world’s computer chips are made in Taiwan. They are not red, CCP China. You can go to Burstfire’s website and buy accessories and spare parts. I really like that. I love that I can “automate” annealing by placing brass in the hopper. Excellent and well thought out device. Flexible options for multiple calibers. Burstfire designed this product very well. Very happy. Excellent value.

This review is based on 100 rounds of 1 caliber 7.7 Jap. The set-up was easy. The issue I experienced was the bottom wheel spins as should but the case started to rotate then stopped, causing uneven annealing and solid burn on brass neck. This happened to 53 cases of 100. If this happens on my 556, 308, and 6.5 CM I’d give it 1 star. If it functions as it should I’d give it 5 stars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This product is gonna work great for annealing my high dollar brass to make it last through multible reloadings. It was also a great price with free shipping.

    • Excellent economy annealer, gets the job done
This is a functional economy brass annealer. It comes with a torch and is simple to set up. I have used it on 22-250 and .243 brass and it works great. You have to get the flame just right but it only takes a few tries to get it working well. The build quality is very good and it is easy to use. It is an excellent value , especially when compared to an induction annealer at about $1500. This unit can do a large quantity of brass all by itself. I did about 50 at at a time. You need a metal pan to catch the hot brass. Make sure your brass is oil free, otherwise the wheels will slip and your annealing will be uneven. Overall a nice economy annealer. ... show more

Don't wait 30 years to get one. Quality tools like this produces quality results. Consistency is everything in long range shooting and this annealer is very important in duplicating consistent details. A breeze to set up and operate!!

    • Simple design with excellent controls
I use the Burstfire Annealer for 6.5 Grendel through 338 RUM cartridge cases. Setup is straight forward. I use two pieces of sacrificial brass to tweak the flame and speed. Excellent value manufactured in Taiwan. Very good instructions and start up video.
