The Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-back exhaust system for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK is perfect for the enthusiast looking for maximum performance and ground clearance. The 2.50-inch tailpipe features a mandrel bent 409 stainless steel design for performance and corrosion resistance. The tailpipe is finished off with a 3.00-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip and fits both 2 and 4 door models with the 3.6L or 3.8L engine. This system replaces the factory transverse muffler reducing weight, improving ground clearance, and providing a moderate sound level. Because this system tucks the tailpipe up high, an aftermarket metal bumper is generally recommended. The exhaust system is covered by our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Designed for a perfect fit, this system includes all necessary parts and hardware for easy and quick installation you can do at home in about 15 minutes.

Looks great, fits great high and out if the way. Jeep loses about 25 lbs. Sounds great at idle, but it barks pretty good from about 3000 RPMS and up. You can definitely hear it. Not sure how it would be on an automatic, but with the stick it's easy to upshift and quiet it back down

2015 wrangler 3.6. Easy install. If you take your muffler off for a day you will get an idea of how this will sound on your Jeep. It’s actually a little louder with this installed believe it or not. It is high clearance and tucked up tight. Only time it is going to sound good is if your are getting after it, Brraapin it up. Other then that, it’s kind of annoying. I will most likely find a way to quiet this down a little somehow and install another resonator or something. 4 stars - but know what your getting. ... show more

This is a quality product.... The instal was really easy as well.. The sound is great as well.. really not that loud until you get in the upper rev range 3,000 to 4,000 RPMs... But I like the sound...

The media could not be loaded. There is nothing more American than throwing that bulky suitcase muffler in the scrap pile and letting that Pentastar breath! It’s definitely on the louder side of exhaust but hey beats shelling out 95k for a 392 wrangler! I have a six speed manual in my Jo so I can make this thing absolutely scream!!! Or just slow roll and it has a nice growl. ... show more

I wanted a little more sound.. I went into this with no V8 truck expectations. You won't get a V8 truck sound out of a V6... Just won't ever happen. The note is a little raspy when going through the gears and then mellows out. Does NOT sound like a Honda with a weed eater muffler !!! I would have liked a deeper tone but not bad for my first real mod. ... show more
