I was skeptical due to the monthly subscription cost and initial price. Ordered collar and 6 month subscription to try out. The peace of mind you have from this collar is worth the monthly subscription. App is easy and fun to use. Follow other Fi dogs in the area or similar breeds on the Fi app. It has become a game to ensure she stays on streak and gets her steps. The additional information like sleep habits is very helpful. Found a central location for the base that has no issues with range or coverage on my 2 acres. Option to share the app with others and send out a "lost dog posse" is great! Bit of a wait when "lost dog" mode is activated. Most often located before the GPS comes online. However, GPS is spot on when it does. For every day the apps' location shown is close to within 20 feet. My pup sleeps hard and does not wake when always when I call .... check the app and it says she is right here, have learned I can trust the app and avoid any panic.

This collar is fantastic. It is the same size as any regular collar and the tracking device is not bulky at all. Great range of colors although I chose the grey and the collar holds up well. I have had it for over a year and it has come in handy on the few occasions my dog got out and took himself for walks. One time I found him about 2 miles away! I never would have found him that time unless he came back in his own. I can’t say enough good things about this collar. It is easy to setup and accurate with tracking.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: TAKE MY MONEY! Today, from moment of alert, to back home safely, 8 MINUTES! He was 1/2 mile away. My Houdini dog searches for ways to escape the property. He checks to see if I’m watching. If I am, he stops, if he thinks I’m “not”, he continues to search for a weak spot. Today, I went to the bathroom while he was doing the same, so I thought. To my chagrin, he woke up with a jailbreak on his mind, and a solid plan. To be clear, these are his adventures and my nightmares. He is a well pampered dog in a pack of 3. His best friend is a Belgium Maligator/GermanSheppard mix, his best escape buddy is a Yellow Lab, and he is a Border Collie/Golden Retriever mix. He could do my taxes if he had an opposable thumb! He is spoiled rotten, all the toys and play time he wants and a huge yard, 1/3 acre to play in and tear up, dig till his heart is content. It’s fenced to 5ft high. It’s a great life, and he will always come back… when he is tired, and I’m freaked out and scared. Usually 6-8hrs later. It would be different if we lived in a rural area, but we live between a super busy 4 lane road, and a lake, in central Florida. Road = trucks, Lake = gator snack given the right opportunity. Last time he escaped, I found him after hours of searching, with ZERO help from the AirPod. That’s when I learned he needed to be 200ft from an apple Bluetooth source to help. Waste of money. Lesson learned, I looked for a real time, or close to it, GPS tracker that was not bulky, that I could keep on the collar full time, didn’t draw the attention of the other dogs to bite at and chew off. Water resistent, durable and didn’t rely on Bluetooth or WiFi, to pick up a signal. F3 was it. I have one for every dog. This time, 8 minutes from alert to home. Gladly pay for the peace of mind. Just knowing which way to go is a huge help! Lots of ways a dog can choose. This makes my life easier, my dogs safer. 100% worth every penny.

I gave 4 stars because the battery life is not that great. I have to charge it every 5 days. When I ordered it, the reviews said the battery would last approximately 3 months. With that being said, I think that only applies to dogs who maybe live inside the house or a pen, because they would always be connected to the base. The only reason I bought the collar is because my dogs roam, a LOT. We have about 100 acres around us and they sometimes get several miles up the road. Someone picked them up the other day and I had no idea where they were until I saw a Facebook post. Battery life aside, the GPS tracking on this collar is ON THE MONEY. When they take one step out of the yard, it notifies me. You can set a “safe zone” and the app will notify you when they leave that zone. I like the color (yellow). It’s very visible. The durability is nice because my dogs rough play 24/7. Because the tracking is so on point, I feel like I will actually keep it. I just wish the battery life was a TAD longer. I don’t need 3 months but two weeks would be nice. Overall it’s a good product.

Seems good so far... lucky I haven't had to use for location yet, but it tracked nicely when we were in the Smokey Mountains with our boy. The activity tracker is nice to monitor (kinda like a Fitbit) . The health monitoring is nice but no real guide as far as when you should be paying closer attention. I wish the collars had different color options when you buy, but you can purchase 3rd party for a premium. Overall I love it

Fits well. Battery holds a charge longer than I would’ve ever expected. The peace of mind the Fi collar provides is worth every penny. Instead of being passive GPS, like an AirTag, which only works when it’s within a couple hundred feet of an iPhone, the Fi is an active transmitter, meaning I can find my dog’s location any time, night or day, regardless of location.
