Features

  • Sticky Tear Away Embroidery Stabilizer: It is a self-adhesive tear away embroidery stabilizer which is very ideal to use on fabrics that cant be hooped or too small to fit in a hoop. Our sticky tear away embroidery stabilizer can be torn away easily yet provides adequate stability, leaving no tears and residue.
  • Tips for keeping Needles from Getting Gummed up: 1,Slow down the stitch speed to 400spm. High stitch speed will generate more heat to melt the glue, making the needle to be gummy. 2,Rub the needle with Sewer Aid - a type of lubricant to reduce friction when stitch. 3,Using the special needle . The recommended is the Organ Anti-glue needle. 4,clean the needle with alcohol usually. 5,follow the correct steps to use sticky embroidery stabilizer(Please refer to the third pic in the description).
  • Wide Applications: Sticky tearaway embroidery stabilizer is ideal for hard to hoop items like bulky towels, cuffs, collars, socks, doll clothes, edges, cap, backpacks, napkin corners, pockets etc. without basting them. Also use for fabrics that can be damaged by the hooping process, fabrics like leather, velvet, brushed flannel, towel, fleece and satin etc.
  • Medium Weight For All The Stitch Density (Counts): It is medium weight 1.8 oz (50 Grams) tear away embroidery stabilizer for light to medium stitch density, for much denser designs or unstable fabric, simply "float" a square of New brothread normal Tearaway stabilizer between the hoop and the bed of the machine to support the additional stitches.
  • Note: Temperature and environment will affect the viscosity of the product. Cold weather may reduce bonding. If you encounter the problem of this sticky stabilizer not sticking firmly to the fast frame in cold and wet days, you can use double-sided tape to assist. And removing the double sided tape with sewing oil easily. Please refer to the fourth picture for reference.
  • SKIN-FRIENDLY MATERIAL: 100% First-Class Polyester which is acid and lead free! No any itching worries even you use our tear away embroidery stabilizer on your skin-touch clothes.

  • I made a mistake with this item and that err was strange.
Size: 12" x 10 Yd
I purchased this product and had it in my mind that it was an 'iron on' adhesive. Clearly, the site said it was 'self-adhering' stabilizer. If you are curious, it was a disaster, the fabric was ruined, the stabilizer didn't adhere, and I was stunned by the failure. I wrote a scathing review which has been removed by me. The Vendor contacted me and asked a few questions, they did respond with a thoughtful offer, and I felt they wanted to resolve the issue and politely did so. Thank you Brothread, I love this product (when used correctly), and will be checking out the threads that you sell. The thread, by specific design, is set to stay organized with little or no effort on my part. The price is a lot less than other threads and the convenience is terrific. ... show more

  • Strong, Effective, and Affordable Tear-away Stabilizer
Size: 12" x 10 Yd
I use this sticky, tear-away embroidery machine stabilizer for all of my ITH (In The Hoop) projects. It doesn't require any additional support for embroidered cards (my most recent crafty obsession). Even the densely-stitched ziz-zag to finish the raw edges doesn't rip through this stabilizer. It's easy to hoop once you've done it a time or two, the peelable paper side up. Then score an "X" using something sharp (like used machine needles) after it's hooped. Peel up the paper to expose the sticky, miracle tear-away that doesn't want to rip until you tell it to. Be careful not to press down too much while positioning things in the hoop—you may fight to get it off! I do mainly small projects (5"x7" or 8"x8" hoops), but on occasion, I've used it with quilts to embroider designs directly onto the "quilt sandwich" (top, batting, backing). It takes some wrangling at the machine to make a flat embroidery surface (with folds of the quilt everywhere). I urge you to try this product if you're looking for an effective and affordable tear-away stabilizer. ... show more

  • One of the best sticky stabilizers ever
Size: 12" x 15 Yd
The media could not be loaded. I use the sticky stabilizer on my magnetic hoops so I can avoid my material puckering. But what I’ve found with most sticky stabilizer is that it’s a royal pain to remove and it takes me awhile to remove it. And yes I use other products to get my hoops clean but it’s time consuming and when you’re working on a big project. The New Brothread Sticky Stabilizer gave me time to finish another mug rug and relax with a cup of tea. As you can see by my pictures the roll was 12” wide and delivery took about a week nicely packaged. I won’t hesitate to purchase another roll again! ... show more

  • A must have
Size: 12" x 10 Yd
This is a must for the home embroidery lover. Makes keeping items stay in place a dream. Use a large hoop to stick in multiple small items and speed up your work. Great quality.

  • Buyer beware
Size: 12" x 10 Yd
The adhesive used on this product requires that the needle be changed with every thread change because it gums up the thread insertion point. Alcohol can be used to clean the needle but is not always effective in removing all the adhesive. The thread sometimes breaks mid-production if one thread is used continuously. I would not recommend. ... show more

  • Great Product
Size: 12" x 10 Yd
Has a good sticky surface, but doesn't gum up your needle. Have reordered this product, really like it.
