This is a good product for the price. The thread runs well without breaks and tension on spool was good. The only issue I have with these larger, economical thread brands on Amazon is that sometimes I wish the color was more rich. I am used to Hemingworth and Floriani threads and while they don’t run any better than these economical brands, they absolutely have a richer color and shine. The whites are whiter, the blacks are blacker, the reds are more vibrant, etc. But I get that if you are getting a better price you have to give up something. And if you’re looking for a good running thread at a good price , this brand absolutely does the job with a good overall look.

Brothread has quickly become my go-to thread brand for machine embroidery. I use it in a 10-needle industrial machine and get exceptional value from their jumbo spools. It is light weight but sturdy ad versatile for all sorts of embroidery projects. Thread burrs are almost nonexistent with this brand, and I've never experienced thread snaps. The color is consistent throughout each spool, and it's wound smoothly and cleanly so it doesn't snag when being pulled through the needle at high speeds. I honestly don't think there's another brand that offers better quality at this affordable price point. I will continue to repurchase Brothread's Single Huge Spool 5000M Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread in all the colors. I think i have over 50 spools in my embroidery room right now and I regularly purchase more. I also like that the dye-lot is consistant across spools which makes it much less stressful if i run out of thread mid-project.

I think there must be miles of thread on this spool. I ordered three spools – one black, one white, and one silver. The colors are excellent. The thread has a wonderful sheen to it. I thought for the size of the spool- The money it cost was well worth it. Using the thread to sew on the machine does not leave a lot of lint-in fact, no lint. I will own that the spool really does not fit my machine – so I have a separate stand to make it usable on my machine. The only thing that I found wrong with these spools is, they tend to break when I’m winding bobbins on my bobbin Winder. For sewing, however, it is wonderful thread And performs just as anyone would reasonably expect- especially for the embroidery function on my machine.
