This shoe is exactly what I've been looking for. I used to run in Brooks Green Silence and then another minimalist asics shoe about 8 years ago. But were sadly discontinued and after running out of ebay options, I started looking for a new shoe that fit my needs. This is it. Great minimalist shoe. Run small and narrow so keep that in mind. That said, I paid for a brand new pair of shoes from the 'zon and ended up with a pair that had clearly been worn before, were tied, and covered in hair. So that was pretty disappointing. I thought about returning them, but I needed them on the day they were delivered so I had no choice but to keep them. Wish I could get a partial discount or something. I wear an 8, ordered an 8 1/2 , returned them for a 9 . Almost felt I could wear a 9 1/2 but they broke in nicely after a couple of wears. If you are looking for a shoe that hugs your foot , even around the ankle , these are for you. I’m very happy with them !!

I prefer a minimus shoe for working out/walking/running. New Balance stopped making my favorite minimus shoe so I needed to find a new one. I read reviews and ordered a half size up ( I am a six and a half and ordered a size 7). Overall, the shoes would fit perfectly if I had ordered a full size up (to a 7.5). I have wide feet with a broad-toe splay. There is ample room in the toe box for my foot to spread out. There is no heel slippage or rubbing on the back of the foot. The shoe fits snugly, but not too tight with a light lift - as a minimus should have. I am pleased with this purchase but unfortunately cannot wear them, but do wish that I could send it back for a size 7.5. ... show more

These work great for rowing machines. I was having a hard time finding a pair of minimalist shoes that didn’t slip out of the foot plates on the machine; these are it. Toe box is actually tighter than expected, especially on my left foot, so that's a bit disappointing. Otherwise, cute, but also haven't worn them enough to test the quality.

Tried as part of Amazon's Try Before You Buy program; they are comfortable to wear but are limited to machine work (elliptical, rowing, bike, etc. and no-impact resistance training). It's closer to a barefoot style, so without cushioning I would not recommend this for walking/running (indoor/treadmill/outdoor) or any activity where you'd have to repeatedly lift your feet, which could result in pain radiating to your ankles, knees and hips. I don't know if I'd even wear these for athleisure for lengthy walking. ... show more
