I love the thicker souls on the bottom that cushioned the bottom of my foot. I have a hammer toe and the bottom of my foot takes all the pressure and these feel great.

These shoes were really pretty and very soft, however upon walking around inside on the carpet to test them out, within 20 minutes the bottom outsides of both feet hurt which forced me to lean my feet in. It felt like maybe a support bar that ran the length of the bottom outside of the footbed. There’s probably a technical term for that, but I found it very uncomfortable and knew I had to return this particular style. I took size 8.5 but also wide for the first time. It looked nice and initially quite comfortable. First I noticed it hardly had any arch support. Second, after having walked in it for about an hour around the house, it started to give me lower back pain. It feels like the heel sits lower than the ball of the foot in this model and maybe that’s why it puts pressure on the lower back. Unfortunately it was not suitable for me. I love these shoes! The comfort and style make them easy to wear running or while on the go. I have plantar fasciitis and these help with the pain. The are true to size and I love the white ones I brought but will be purchasing another pair in a different color.
