Of all the sneakers I’ve tried for running and walking these are my most comfortable. Very glad I listened to all the other good reviews for the Fresh Foam shoe. I have a pair of Nikes with the same foam sole style that hurt my feet after 15 minutes so my expectations were low for these but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are. I wear them to work where I am on my feet for 12 hours straight. These shoes are very comfy. I still have some knee/hip pain but not as bad as before the shoes. Look just as pictured. Worth the price.

I am a big fan of fresh foam 1080 but that is an expensive shoe to use for walking. I have enjoyed using this alternative for walking (haven't tried much running in them really). The fit seems a little narrower which was concerning to me at first (switch to NB from Hoka for the wide toe box) but it hasn't been a problem. NB Fresh Foam in general seems to be the way to go! ... show more

I thought after a couple of mos of use they would break in nicely and be very comfortable as my other New Balances were. They are not. They are the correct size. Also every little thing sticks to the fabric on the outside and the fabric is pilly already. Not happy with quality of the shoe for the money spent. ... show more

    • Nice running shoe for the price point if you have wide feet
I'm a fan of New Balance shoes, though I've been wearing their Fresh Foam X880 V12 or V13 for the past year or so. I decided to try out this shoe because of the cheaper price point. I have a wide foot and am pretty heavy, though I do much more walking than actual running or jogging. And I just do it casually for exercise, I don't compete or anything like that. This shoe has ended up working out really well for me. I worried it wouldn't have as much support compared to the pricier shoe, and it probably doesn't but it's fine for my brisk walking of 2-4 miles at a time around on paved paths or hard-packed trails. I'll probably keep getting the more expensive pair but alternate some with this cheaper version since it works for me. ... show more

Bad quality, I wore these only half a dozen times and the black traction pievce on the heel fell off. Not sure is these are a lower quality than typical new balance. My friends all love the shoes.
