  • Best running shoe I’ve ever owned.
Size: 6.5 Wide Color: Moonrock/Bleached Lime Glo/Sea Salt
A runners shoe story. I used to be an Altra Escalante girl w Curex insoles until a foot injury. (The Altra Escalante is super light weight w a wide toe box … I’ve had the black toe before….and I’ve always hated a heavy shoe.) After weeks of Physical Therapy, my PT suggested more cushion and stability. I moved on to the Brooks Glycerin GTS 20. This shoe blew my mind! It checked all the boxes & I no longer needed the Curex inserts. I did however; have to buy toe re-enforcers as I quickly put a hole in my shoe. I went thru a pair, bought the same pair directly from Brooks in different color as replacements and for whatever reason the fit and feel was gone! I was baffled. So I moved on. I did alot of research trying to find the next shoe. This shoe the New Balance 1080 was sold out everywhere so I did the Amazon try before you buy. The comfort is unmatched, the ride is amazing. It’s like running on clouds. I know they say foam shoes don’t last but the way this feels… I would gladly shell out the money for this fit and comfort. Only down side is the laces are super cheap. Notes. I wear a 6.5 wide. That’s half a size up and despite the fleet feet guy telling me to go to a 7, I always lose the support in a 7 and feel like most of my foot is swimming in the shoe. I do plan on buy new laces and toe reinforcers just in case. I run a 5k every other day on average. Mostly pavement and sidewalks. Midsole strike w a little pronation & 1 arch is higher than the other. I do wear Feetures or OOFOS socks. Expensive but have a lifetime guarantee. Your feet will thank you. ... show more

  • Buy these now!!!
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Turtledove/Dolce/Sea Salt
Let me tell you that I am hard to fit, have a wide foot with a high arch and multiple foot issues including recent Achilles surgery and plantar fasciitis. I’ve tried on and owned an obscene amount of shoes and can never find anything that doesn’t flare up my fasciitis after even a gentle short walk. I wore these to the airport and had an extremely tight connection between flights. I’m amazed to say that I had no pain in the arches, soles or heels of my feet after that crazy speed walk! The cushioning is seriously next level. I feel like I’m walking on bouncy clouds. I wore these all day every day for a week long vacation almost right out of the box with no blisters or break in needed. They fit me in my normal size of 9.5 wide. The little tab at the back of the heel is so cushioned that it feels just great with zero rubbing and no hard edges. There’s no doubt in my mind I’ll be buying these on repeat when they finally wear out. Like I said, I’ve tried them all including Hokas and I will swear by these til the day I die. The color is gorgeous and goes with everything. They do show dirt easily, but that’s to be expected when you buy a light colored shoe. These are super super light too. ... show more

  • Great shoes for people with excess supination.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Dolce/Sea Salt/Angora
Most shoes and OTC insoles are designed for those with a neutral gait or overpronators, who roll their feet inward as they walk because this is apparently more common. I am a supinator or underpronator, in that I put more weight on the outer edge of the foot as I walk. People with high arches or insteps are often underpronator. You are likely an underpronator if your shoes show wear faster in the outer edge of your shoes. I saw these shoes recommended for supinators, among others, but these were the only ones recommended that came in wide, that I need, The shoes are working out great, no pain, though I am also inserting a Wedge Heel Straightener Insert by Pedaq, which only help at the heel. If you are a supinator, these are great shoes. I am looking for an all black or gray pair for the winter! ... show more

  • Great shoes. Comfortable
Size: 7 Wide Color: Pink Granite/Orb Pink/Limelight
I love new balance. One of the only shoes with a wide toe box, which I need. I tried OnClouds but decided to go back to NB and I’m glad I did. It’s just an overall more comfortable fit for walking/jogging. They are a little pricey but it’s what works for me.

  • SO comfortable!
Size: 6.5 Color: Turtledove/Dolce/Sea Salt
I love these sneakers! I’m on my feet for 16-18 hours/day, and I walk/run a lot, plus I have a non-union fracture of the sesamoid bone in one foot, so comfort is number one for me. I had worn Adidas Ultraboost’s almost exclusively for the past few years, but their quality and comfortability have dropped significantly and I’ve been desperately looking for a replacement. These New Balance Fresh Foam x 1080 are it, but better. I replaced the insoles with my orthotics and immediately went on a 4 mile walk without breaking them in at all and they were perfect. So comfortable, and I felt like I had a little more bounce in my step. I’m already looking at another pair for work. I’m so glad I found them. ... show more

  • Comfortable lots of cushion
Size: 8.5 Color: Pink Granite/Orb Pink/Limelight
I like these shoes a lot. They have a lot of cushion so that may not be for everyone. I don’t wear them every day, but I do enjoy walking in them. I also have a pair that have less cushion they are the 680s. With new balance, there are a lot of variation based on which ones you get.

  • Most Comfortable Running Shoes
Size: 7.5 Wide Color: White/Silver Metallic
If you have a high arch and love to run, try these shoes. I have been running in these for YEARS and nothing compares to the comfort I feel when wearing these sneaker. I feel supported and can run long distance without my knees feeling impacted. They last me a few months, but always reorder these New balance. Run don’t walk to get these! You wont be disappointed!! ... show more
