I recently purchased my first pair of New Balance sneakers in quite some time, having previously worn another brand. I remember New Balance's wide width being a bit more accommodating, but these sneakers fit snugly, and I can only wear them with very thin socks. I use them primarily for upper arm workouts and light walking around the track at the gym or in my neighborhood. Given my history of knee replacements and scar tissue in both knees, putting these sneakers on can be challenging due to the heel design, which could benefit from being stiffer. While putting them on my left foot is particularly difficult, my extra-long shoe horn from my knee replacement kit helps, though I sometimes have to improvise with a pen or letter opener when changing after work for an evening workout. Despite these challenges, the sneakers are very comfortable and look great in person, matching the online picture perfectly. I plan to purchase the men's version in hopes they will be a bit wider for cardio (more impact) workouts, while using this pair for everyday activities like shopping and running errands. ... show more

True to size-a little narrow in the toe area but I am a 7 and ordered a 7 and they fit well. I thought they were slip on, but they are laced, and you do have to tie them. Great arch support which is helping relieve daily hip pain

My work shoes! Easy to slip on, easy to clean look nice everything. NOT A WORKOUT SHOE! I would never run or train in these as they do not have a large amount of cushion. They ARE COMFORTABLE but not my ideal workout shoe. NOT water proof.
