Review from wife: Durability: The outside is leather and holds up in Michigan winters. The inside seems to wear down in about a year. I have ordered a new pair yearly since 2016. Weight: I don't think they are notably heavy or light. Appearance: I started wearing these shoes in my mid 30s. Since they are black they go with everything. I wear bell bottoms a lot and they fit nicely under the bell. Some people may think they are wide but they are great for me. Pain Relief: I have pain in my calfs and hips when I do not wear these. The shoes appear to be well made and they arrived very quickly. I ordered a “wide” the first time and they were too wide but I ordered the regular fit and they fit great! Overall a good shoe.

I bought NB 928V3, size 8 AA. I have never had a sneaker fit my foot so well. My heel slips a little, but not enough to rub a blister. Presently I am walking 2.5 miles, 5 or 6 days a week. These shoes felt good when I put them on a month ago and still feel good today, so I would really recommend these to others with narrow feet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The New Balance Women's 813 V1 Lace-Up Walking Shoe is apparently no longer available in my size 10W. The 928 V3 appears to be the upgraded replacement. Reluctantly, I purchased a pair even though I didn't care for the toe style. I had the shoes for several weeks before I realized that the tongues were 2 different lengths, making them what i would consider"seconds". The 813s were priced around $100. The 928 V3s were $150.
