This is the perfect shoe for me. Sturdy, durable, supportive and well made. I have bad feet and I am not able to walk barefoot. I use this shoe for an indoor shoe that acts, for me, like a slipper. It is wide enough in a B width for my orthotic and foam inserts if I need them.

Beautiful product. Tried and true. I've been wearing these for about a decade. I am so happy that they are still available. Large toe box. Shoe wears well for plantar fasciitis and aggravated accessory navicular bone. Shipping was unreliable and irritatingly late.

    • Buy one width larger than your usual size
Size: 12 Color: Black/Black
Seems supportive -- my foot issues cleared up once I got a pair in a size that fit right. The fit is the primary problem. The shoes are slightly longer than previous versions, but cut very narrow and the toe box is pointier, so less forgiving of toe issues. I normally wear regular width (B) shoes, but I had to return and replace with a wide width (D) pair to get them to fit. We're not talking a little narrow -- the sides of my feet were red and chafed after walking in one circle around my house in the too-narrow pair. Once I returned the too-narrow pair and got the wider ones, the shoes work for me. Arch support is necessary to allow me to walk without pain, and these provide that. Yes, the fit is not exactly the same as v1 of the shoes, but it's still pretty good. The tongue does want to slip down, but the appearance is trimmer than previous version (probably all that lost width and the pointier toes). I don't find my narrow heel slips any more or less than the previous version if I've done the laces up right. Hopefully they'll wear well. ... show more

No problem exchanging Sizes. I ordered xwide and it was too wide, so I easily exchanged for the 8 wide. These shoes are awesome! Very nice looking and fits well very! That’s super important due to my many orthopedic foot and ankle problems. Thank you!

    • Squared off toe allows good toe room

Good toe room in a 10 Wide. My heels are not large and they fit well in these. My ankles are a bit low and they do contact the top of the shoe, but there is good padding and comfort everywhere. Good room for my orthotic supports. Trying to replace my discontinued 847s.
