  • Excellent but size up!
I've tried many, and I mean many styles & sizes New Balance shoes. I have several styles but these are My favorites because they feel the best. I love them. I'm a power walker everyday. I'm a size 10 medium. In New Balance I wear a size 11 Wide in every style, they all just run small. I reiterate, the many styles I tried for comfort & support, these are absolutely the best, without a doubt. They are very cushioned on the bottom with a nice arch support. They are lightweight, they are made to be for ease in walking. These are perfect for me. They also look nice too which is always a plus. I have four pairs. If there were more colors, I would absolutely purchase these again. ... show more

  • Elevating Every Step: A Detailed Exploration of the New Balance Women’s 520 V7 Running Shoe
In the vast realm of athletic footwear, finding the perfect companion for one’s feet can be akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. The New Balance 520 V7 Running Shoe beckoned with its promise, prompting me to give it a go. And as I threaded this journey, the shoe evolved from a mere athletic accessory to an essential part of my daily routine. Here’s my tale, painted with shades of adrenaline, comfort, and revelations. Unraveling the Nuances of New Balance’s Craftsmanship: From the very first stride, the 520 V7 felt different. The shoes seemed to have an intuitive understanding of my feet, adapting seamlessly. Having previously worn shoes from Adidas UltraBoost series and Nike’s Air Zoom line, I was accustomed to a certain level of comfort. However, New Balance managed to introduce a fresh dimension, especially with its cushioning, which felt like a gentle embrace for my feet. Pros: ⚡ Design Excellence: The synthetic upper is durable and stylish. My past endeavors with Asics Gel-Kayano showcased the importance of a reliable upper, and New Balance doesn’t disappoint. It strikes a balance between aesthetics and function, something I’ve grown to appreciate in my daily runs. Traction to Trust: Running both on trails and pavements, the rubber sole’s grip felt reassuring. Compared to my experiences with Brooks Ghost series, the traction here was commendable and made each run more confident. Comfort Beyond Compare: Each step, be it during my morning jogs or evening walks, was cushioned. This nuanced comfort was reminiscent of my time with the Saucony Ride series, yet New Balance added its own unique touch. Versatility Personified: This shoe effortlessly transitioned from being a reliable running partner to a stylish accessory for casual outings, giving the likes of Mizuno Wave Rider a run for its money. Cons: Wear and Care: Although machine washable, there’s apprehension about longevity post multiple washes. This reminds me of my Skechers Go Run series, which posed similar maintenance questions. Lacing Niggles: The traditional lace-up system, while reliable, needed occasional tweaks, especially during long runs. Final Thoughts: The New Balance Women’s 520 V7 is more than just a shoe; it’s an experience. As someone who’s traversed the vast landscape of athletic footwear, I can confidently say that New Balance has carved a niche with this offering. It’s a shoe that not only competes with market giants but often surpasses them in various facets. While it’s not without its quirks, its strengths far overshadow its limitations, making it a worthy consideration for both seasoned runners and casual wearers. ... show more

  • Pretty Good Shoes
Size: 7.5 Color: Gray/Neon Green
I was going to return these shoes because when I first tried them on, they felt tight and somewhat small. Then I saw that the comfort insole is removable, so I replaced it with a different insole, and on that insole, I placed on top some of my own ball of foot comfort pads. Voile, issue solved, and I keep these shoes. they will be my go-to shoes. I have neuropathy in my feet and I'd heard that New Balance made good shoes for people like me who suffer from neuropathy. Not everyone has the same experience with shoes or neuropathy; I just just believe in writing honest reviews, and I hope this helps others. The length is perfect as well. -- Have a great day everyone. ... show more

  • Cute shoes, but were too small for me
The only reason I gave it three stars where I did is because I had to send them back; too small for my left foot and tight on my right. I ordered the largest and widest size they had so cannot size up any further. Otherwise, they are very nice looking shoes; good support, good cushioning, well made.

  • Junebug
The shoe didn’t have enough support for my high arches and just not comfortable on my feet. My feet are older now after years of running and extreme exercise. I would always wear New Balance but just can’t anymore. Nothing against New Balance at all but sometimes it is time for a change. After sending many pairs of sneakers back think I have finally found my fit with another brand and it is ok! I tried with New Balance, but alas it was not to be! I just got my new pair from Amazon today and they just work. Don’t know if I should write the brand of shoe? If it helps someone else then here goes Brooks . I have plantar fasciitis, a bunion on right foot, narrow to medium 7.5 feet. I got 8 wide and fit great so there you go and hope this helps! ... show more

  • Liked them so much I got a second pair!
Like every New Balance shoe I've ever worn, these fit really well. They are wide enough in the toe box, especially across the ball of my foot. They don't hurt my bunions (that's right, bunions! 😮). I can wiggle my toes, and they don't feel pinched at all. And my narrow heels don't slide up out of the shoe. For reference, I wear a 7 in regular shoes, and 7.5 in sneakers. These fit perfectly. The colors are super cute too! It's unusual for me to love a shoe so much to buy it twice. I've only done it once before. But these are worth it! ... show more
