I absolutely love these shoes and find them so cute and comfortable. I bought these shoes for work 3 weeks ago and have worn them every shift since. I am an ER nurse who is constantly on her feet at work for 12 hours. This is actually the second pair of new Balance shoes I have bought. I was so impressed with the first and I wanted a different color. I normally wear about a 6.5 to 7 in women’s depending on the brand. I bought a size 7 in the slate gray metallic silver color. These shoes fit me well and are true to size. The toe area is roomy enough to allow me to spread my toes out some. They also leave enough room to accommodate thicker socks, or foot swelling during shifts. I do have arches in my feet and they feel well supported while wearing them. They feel lightweight on my feet during my entire shift and my feet never feel heavy. When I first wore them they were a little stiff, but they never once hurt my feet. I was surprised because usually new shoes have to be broken in. Of course my feet do get tired since I worked 12 hour shifts, but they have never once hurt like they have with other shoes I have worn in the past. The sole of the shoe is cushioned and has not compressed after use. I have never once slipped while wearing them on polished and tiled flooring, so they provide traction. The mesh on the side is breathable. They are a little harder to keep clean because of the fabric near the lace toe and heel. After three weeks of use, I have not noticed any loose stitching and they have held up very well. Additionally, there isn’t any noticeable wear to the outsole. I absolutely love these shoes, they are so cute!! And comfortable! I wear a size 11 and they were just wide enough that I could put my insoles in them for a perfect fit. I am so glad that I bought these shoes. I would recommend them.

This is a comfortable shoe, true to size, looks good, nice shade of navy. However, the 4 stars are because there is almost no arch support. I inserted the separate, “Power Step”, arch supports in the shoes and that did the trick.

You really can find anything on Amazon. I bought these shoes the first time directly from New Balance and was so disappointed when I couldn't find them again. Decided to just TRY searching them on here and what do you know, they had them. I am a server so I am on my feet running around ALL day, sometimes 12-14 hour days and these shoes are so comfortable. (They definitely are NOT non-slip - and aren't listed as such so it's totally fine!! but I scuff them in the parking lot before I wear them at work for the first time to give them some grip and after that they aren't bad.) I really like that they are kind of wide without being wide? I definitely don't need a "wide" shoe, but most sneakers are so narrow these days. These one's aren't like that, I definitely feel like it gives room for my feet to be a bit more free without sacrificing stability. That being said... I wish they were more durable and lasted longer. Because I've needed to replace every few months with what I do. And with a $66 price tag ON SALE. It's kind of a bummer. As soon as the sole started to really sag I definitely noticed my feet hurting more and more. Also, this is the ONLY shoe I've ever had that started to curl up in the toe. Makes me think that the quality isn't that great, but when you first get them they are so I am committed until I find something else. ... show more
