So I order these all the time, have to have the all black shoes for work. The shoes have always held up well and a perfect fit. This pair however is a different story…. I can’t wear them because the inserts inside the shoe are too small and my toes hang over. On top of the $70, I paid now I’m going to have to buys inserts that fit correctly and that’s going to cost an additional 40+ bucks. I feel like these are seconds or flawed. ... show more

They seem a little light for running but these are my go to shoes for working out in the gym. I've always loved the New Balance fit for wider feet. I have feet like Fred Flintstone, and these fit me perfectly.

It's a very comfortable fit and easy to throw on. Feels very breathable for workouts. My only "gripe" was it felt like they counter supported my feet inward, and that is taking some getting used to.

Great shoes. Very light and comfortable. I order them for my husband and he loves them. He has wide feet and uses professional orthotics that have to fit inside the shoe. Recommend

I bought these as casual shoes, and will not be running in them. That being said, I bought them for the look and fit. I always need wide shoes and was disappointed to see them only offered in extra wide. But, I will always side on extra wide vs regular, and in this case, I am glad I did. They are definitely wider than I prefer, but since they are for casual wear, it has not yet bothered me. I did return a 9.5 for a 9, but I am always one or the other even in the same brand. My foot was definitely swimming in 9.5s. Nice and light, good traction. Can be used for spur of the moment hikes. Stepped into a puddle the other day, and I did not feel any wetness come through. My only other negative besides the sizing choices is the screen printed Freshfoam on the tan "kick guard". Seems completely unnecessary and I would remove it if I can figure out how. Other than that, it is usually on sale for a reasonable price with many choices of colors. ... show more
